One TINY concern ... might it be possible for the eye stalks on the Norris Head Crab to be angled a bit more upward? Just asking because the eyeballs on the stalks will look amazing once painted, but if they're pointed downward, they'll be hard to show off in most people's displays.

But like I said, that's a TINY concern.

Will the legs have any reinforcement inside for strength? Like wire? Just curious.

Good point about the eyes. We can do that. That's why I love showing pics on the forums. Great feedback ideas!

Since the legs are gonna be resin would wires in the legs really be necessary? I am open to comments.

We have caught a lot of **** over neck length before, so while I actually see your point, would like to hear feedback from others on this before doing that just to have others weigh in? Not a problem to do if enough others agree. :) :hi5:

I think the Macready sculpt and neck length look fine. But, for me, I'll use the old BBi jacket and save $100.

I think you can put me out of MacReady head list.
Face it self looks ok (tho I'm tired of expressionless sculpts) but those hair... it's not even funny. Not only they look increadibly unnatural but puffy as hell, making him 20 years older. Also it's gonna be completely incompatible with layers of clothes around the neck.

However I agree that making his tentacle-eyes straight looking is a must as much as pose these tentacles asymmetrically.

I've been staring at these beauties for the last couple of hours. (What can I say, it's a lazy Sunday!) And I have to say again ... fantastic work, guys!

The only other thing that's catching my eye ... and maybe it's an optical illusion ... but from straight on does the lower half of the face (particularly around the cheekbones) look a smidge too wide? I know he sports a mighty beard in the movie, but the skull here seems a tad too wide.

Let me give a quick update on this. I wanted to do it last weekend but didn't have anything to show.

Sean agrees the cheeks are a smidgen too wide and wanted to fix that before we sent them off to print, and before we asked again for deposits because we want you to see what the final version is first.

The crab thing is also going to have the two changes made (move eye direction so it is not looking at the ground (laugh) and want more detailed hair.

I hope for updated pics this week! Seans E-mail has been wonky so we have had spotty communication. The rest of the payment would be asked for in a month (guessing) when it is being cast.

Now that Sideshow's Snake is on order, I'll be needing a replacement head sculpt with an actual likeness!
