Here is a cosplay version. This is what they looked like on the medicom figure as well. They definitely are not something you will find on the open market, maybe they get added to the project? I can get real references later on for them.

I also need to get some better boots. T1000 boots are harder to come by these days it seems.

Hey Fellas!

So right now I'm putting all my effort on the helmet and rocket pack for this project...trying my best to get them done in metal for this project...I just sent down files to get checked for printing yesterday...still need to tweak rocket pack since it has some geometry errors for the printer...will keep everyone updated on the prints.

Regarding gloves...I will look into it when the rocket and helmet are in progress, but feel free to see if any artist is willing to jump on project and help out...the more talent the better!

Here are some pics of the file I sent to printer..its a bit complicated and I'm definitely learning by trial and error but hopefully we can make this a reality together:

Do what ever you have to do. I am down for what ever . I have pulled the trigger on the Medicom 2.0 Rocketeer. so I have the gloves. There happens to be a brilliant leather worker that is Local to my area. I am going to see if he is willing to make the harnesses .

I actually just snagged some T1000 boots off eBay for $25. A little higher than I would like... but hey what can you do haha.

Since we are doing sculpts, helmets, etc is there a painter that would be interested in this project?

There needs to at least be a chin portion since it is exposed at the bottom of the mask, especially from behind. Medicom made the figure this way as well. I was just pulling these stills... man I love this movie haha. I love how Alan Arkin was playing an old guy even in 1991.

As of right now...the helmet is a stand alone piece...I have been talking to my friend about the head sculpt underneath...at first I was going to go McHaleyArt way and just find a sculpt with a neck and just shave the nose down and around head to make it fit...doesnt seem that hard to do and McHaley's looks great too. The Medicom is a faceless sculpt also...but since our helmet is sized up half an inch to compensate for larger HOT TOYS body, the medi sculpt might not fit right....but Ill have a better answer once i get a test print back in the coming weeks to see how to plan for it. But to answer everyones question...right now it is only the HELMET...no sculpt.

If everything goes according to plan, the helmet will be cast in metal (bronze or copper; which ever metal is cheaper) so no painting will be required, unless you want to weather it a bit..but you are on your own with that :lol
Also...since this and the rocket are being printed in metal and theres multiple parts to the pack...Ill be offering this as a combo only and the price will reflect materials...so just a heads up...wont be cheap..but definitely try to make it as affordable as possible.
Will keep everyone updated.

Do you mean the Helmet and Rocket pack will be only sold together? Just clarifying.

I think finding our own head is easy enough, I will be curious to see what people go with.... the best chin wins.

Yup! The Helmet and Rocket will be sold together
And I will definitely keep in mind the clothing expenses too...so Ill offer and take payments (possibly take payment plans) only after you have paid for the Outfit to give everyone's wallets and credit cards a breather...I know Ill need one :lol
