Hell yeah man! SO happy about this.

I have to say though that with all of this and the Bret project coming to life I now have the wrestler bug. So I'm in for getting almost anyone else off the ground. Staring Wirth that kick ass Owen sculpt!!!

Awesome! Owen is on the way and the bulldogs are on my wishlist. Unfortunately Yunsil won't do anymore wrestling outfits but I have a few people working on outfits that I think will be high quality.

Really!? Hmm did the Bret one just end up being too complicated for her to make it with while? I mean I get it, but she did a good job. In any case though I have no doubt you have some other good options up your sleeve man!

Apparently she just wants to stay away from complicated outfits (I saw that she wouldn't do the hook outfit either) and she told me this was on e of her more difficult outfits to do.

I asked her about doing another Bret outfit she said she could only do the jacket and not the tights, same thing for Owen.

Hendi Cheung is working on Bulldog. He did a really great job on the Hart Foundation outfit, particularly the lower tights/trunks which were on par with Yunsil's so I think the Bulldog tights will turn out well.

Geewhiz is doing the Blue Blazer tights and I have another tailor doing Owen.

That’s a shame. Yunsil would knock the Million Dollar Mans suit out of the park; throw in a Robbie belt, that’d be one helluva figure.

Can't wait to see what you all do with your sets!

I just put mine together so I want to give some tips so you don't make the same mistakes i did :( First off the outfits are incredible and I'll post pics as soon as I get a chance but I wanted to make sure I posted these tips before anyone tried to put their set together.

Everyone on here are very experienced but I just wanted to give you all a heads up just in case as this was definitely the most challenging Yunsil outfit I have ever encountered and I have bought so many yunsil outfits over the years (she even did a one off Bret outfit for me years ago and it was so easy to take on and off).

1) the outfits are extremely tight (as they should be) and there is very little give in the singlet piping area, it is best to remove the arms before putting the outfit on as Yunsil suggested. I tried to put on one of my outfits without removing the arms and it pulled at the singlet piping tearing the piping ever so slightly. I was sweating bullets putting this thing on.

For my second outfit I opened up the ganghood body first and swapped out the arms with arms from a starlord body which has screws in the shoulder. this made it easier to remove the arms. I'm sure you guys will come up with better ways to do this, but please be VERY cautious as the piping is delicate.

2) i suggest doing your padding of the body before sliding it on. It will be very hard to remove it after you put it on.

3) The backside of the body needs padding if you're using the ganghood or starlord bodies. I found these "butt enhancers" on ebay that add padding to his backside (currently it is way too flat), though there are other underwear style padding options on ebay or I'm sure you can figure out other cheaper methods (I had planned to sculpy my own padding before finding this online and went the lazy route).

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-mad...226932?hash=item23c2c02234:g:mGMAAOSwcZpdCAKy

I superglued it to the body.

4) If you're using the ganghood body make sure you put on the thigh enhancers. The starlord bodies have the thigh enhancers already attached.

5) The calves need the most padding as they are a bit slim. The shoes will fit really well with the socks (the sailor rabbit socks on ebay), however the exposed calf between the kneepad and socks will be a bit slim if you don't pad ahead of time (I used pink athletic tape to pad the calves, though I realized after the fact that I didn't pad it enough).

6) The bottom tips of the hair are a bit fragile, please be careful. I've dropped one head and a tip broke off on both. I also was too rough with the jacket and a tip came off as well. Probably won't be an issue for those going with real hair.

7) I think the Bret likeness comes out pretty nicely with a slight side glance, like the yelim paintup I posted here. I've gotten the head painted a few times and so far that's my favorite.

P.S. Thank you all for being supportive and easy to deal with (some of you have supported my my various Bret prototypes FOR YEARS and I'm very appreciative). I also found someone to put together a Bulldog outfit prototype and I think you will all be very pleased with the quality.
I just received my (amazing) painted sculpt and shoes from JOhnny, and now am ready to start putting this together. However, I'm not quite sure how to put the arms back on after putting the suit on the body. I have the KO bane body, and removed the rubbery torso part, but can't see how I can re-attach the arms without keeping the rubbery torso piece off while I do it. Did anyone else have a specific method they can share?

By the way, I can't believe I'm about to pull the trigger on a $25 butt enhancer for my Bret Hart doll. What a crazy world we live in. :D

I think Ray would probably have a better method than me as I feel like I got it on clean by sheer luck (I ended up damaging my first outfit). Also I think Levit was able to get the outfit on as well so I think he'd have good advice.

For the successful outfit I used non muscle arms (from another body, I believe a star lord body) and put the jacket to cover the arms (the figure with the muscle arms is the one that I damaged the suit with as I tried to stretch it over the arms). This was still tough to get on but not quite as difficult to get on as the muscle arms. So basically I boiled the arm off from the shoulder and popped it off (it wasn't easy, I believe I had to crack the arm a bit to get it out). After the outfit was on I popped the arm back in.

the arms I ended up putting on the StarLord body (you gotta growth Star Lord 2 by the way not Star Lord 1) Was the original T-800 arms. These are the exact same sculpts as the Bane and Ganghood.

Why I chose those was because the tone matched perfectly to Star Lord. That and I had them lying around.

Chilipep66 gave me the tip on how to get the suit on with those arms attached to the body. I did not remove them from the shoulder socket I heated and popped off the forearms only. For the record, working things out I went back and forth on this removing the suit a few times. I did not want to but it had to be done as I was figuring stuff out... third or forth time was the straw that broke the camel's back and the very center of the loop on the back part's stitch snapped. But totally cleanly. I did a tiny dab of glue to keep the stitch in place and then a spot with a sharpie (it was on the black part) and never to remove again, but thankfully it was invisible.

Thanks for the input guys. Sounds like it's going to a real challenge no matter what route I pursue. I would like to keep the muscle arms on so that I could theoretically pose him without the jacket, but I don't think I'm willing to risk ripping the suit.

So by not using the muscle arms, you were able to pop the shoulder out where the bicep/tricep connects to the deltoid/shoulder? And that allowed you to put it on without causing undue stress to the suit?

Bret Update!

Yesterday, I got to meet Bret (for the zillionth time) but this time, got to show him our figure tribute, and he was really stoked! "by far the most realistic figure Ive ever seen" were his exact words. I brought him Robbie's belt to get signed, as well as showed him Rays pics from IG. He mentioned his son had showed him the photos before too, and he was really impressed!

So awesome, made my day! His signature looks great on robbie’s belt too. Love how the blue paint pops on your mattel figures too.

Yes , I actually had to boil the arms and there was less pull on the singlet to go over the arms.

I think ray’s option might be better for you since you’re going to use muscle arms. You have to really push the suit far along his torso before putting the singlet on.

Sorry to hijack the BH thread...

Apologies for picture overload here this guy was just too fun to photograph. Something I have been working on and off for about a year, maybe a bit less, after countless painstaking modifications and details, thrilled to have finally finished…

Fantastic! That's pretty special. He even signed the belt case so it doesn't cover anything up much. Thoughtful guy.

Thanks! I've been out of town all week, and am working like a dog nowadays, but will definitely try to carve out some time to do this soon.

What did folks do to connect the boots? Do you just glue them to the bottom of the legs?
With the socks and padding I added to the boots they stick on pretty good. I wouldn’t glue the boots myself but if you want it to really stick id use blue tack however I’d love to hear other thoughts
