Just thought I would let you know that my Van Zan is in my top 5 favorite figures right now. Maybe even top 3.

Just finished Book of Eli Ray Stevenson Redridge figure.
Hope you enjoy him as much as I enjoyed making him.

That looks amazing!

Thanks. Hey, did you ever finish that Selene figure you were
trying to make?

incredible work! :goodpost:

Thanks.

:clap Awesome Customs man , well done on all of them , love the DX stands :hi5:

Thanks.

Yeah, the DX stands rock. So sturdy and easy to just go crazy on
without a worry. Though I did break one light when I had it out
of the stand.

Here's the pictures of the Book of Eli figure set and how each turned out.
I forgot to add them to this, so here they are.
Carnegie, Eli and you've already seen Redridge.

Sean Ho did an awesome paint app on Eli and Carnegie.
Then I got them dirty and weathered up.
This set was made for the writer of the movie(Gary Whitta).
He got them a few weeks ago and loves them. He posted some
pictures on his twitter account and facebook. Though you can't
see them on his facebook unless he makes you a friend.

IKECON, this is a great thread of your very original work! Your figures are full of energy. They all look very lively!

Very good, congratulations!!!!

IKECON, this is a great thread of your very original work! Your figures are full of energy. They all look very lively!

Thanks.

I try for as much film accurate things on the figures as I can do.
It was the Eli figure that really got me into full on metal working
with the machete cut from steel plate. So now I want to make
everything out of metal...:rotfl

That entire Eli set turned out really, really well! :clap

Thanks. As always(just like Van Zan), I continue to improve on them.

I've really gotten the machete down to a science now..:rotfl

So much so, that the company that I buy the steel plate from,
actually asked if they could make it for me. So I'm working on
a deal to hopefully mass produce them. All I would have to do
is clean them up and add the leather wrap to the handle. Which
would be a welcome change from the 4-5 hours of cutting, shaping,
drilling and then doing the clean-up I normally do for just one..:lol

Speaking of Van Zan Maglor....

I've started to make pockets for the all the vests now.
That and of course the 2.0 axe and leather boots are all
improvements for Van Zan. Still need to put some slight
changes on the newer axe and boots.

Here's one I just finished for myself with all those improvments.
PM if you want some pockets on yours or anything else.

6th Van Zan rolls off the line and to
his new home half way across the world.

I must say, I've really enjoyed working on this figure release.
The 10 Van Zans that are out there(not all pictured in this thread) have
found homes all around the world. Showing just how much
this film was actually well recieved and enjoyed by fans everywhere.

Homes: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Ireland, Japan,
Turkey and the rest in the United States.

Here he is.

Thanks to all the customers and support by many for
this project. Special thanks to Witekite for help on some
of the accessories, Daniel Choe for the awesome
sculpt and all the great painters(Nate, John, Mikey & Ski).

I hope that all of you have enjoyed it as
much as I've enjoyed bringing it to life for you.

Next figure is in the works.
