I know a lot of us including me need some JP figures in our collections. I want Dr. Alan Grant first and then a Malcolm, not sure about the rest though.

Payments are to be sent in about a week after Caine makes the second sculpt and molds them.

His outfit should be pretty easy to bash. Just a blue shirt, khaki pants, red scarf and tan boots. Please post your interest below and I will add you to the list.

*Once payment starts to be accepted. I will turn this list into a Paid list.*

No one wants this sculpt?... :(

Re: 1/6 Alan Grant (Jurassic Park) by Caine

If this could be done right, Then I'd be down.

It should, I mean, we have Caine sculpting him if we can get the interest. He is one of the top notch sculptors on the board IMO.

Jurrasic park may very well be my favorite film, so I'm really excited about working on this. Could even sculpt a little raptor claw for Alan to hold!

Re: 1/6 Alan Grant (Jurassic Park) by Caine

It was one of the first movies I saw on the big screen when It came out, so I'm hoping this project will come to fruition.

That would be awesome. Like I said above, I have big diorama plans for this guy. JP is one of my top 3 favortie movies ever and I really want an awesome display.

Re: 1/6 Alan Grant (Jurassic Park) by Caine

I have plans on offering up a fully-poseable 1/6 Raptor so I'm interested.

I would be interested if Caine could sculpt a hat. I have looked all over for Grants huge *** hat and have come up with nothing.

List updated.

RavenEye - Is that your Alan Grant custom? If so, where did you get the shirt? I have been looking everywhere for one like that.

I am offering GRANT here and on JP toys first, through Monday. On Tuesday I will begin offering him for sale on sideshowcollectors.com.

I have 11 available from a total run of 12. Each will come with a numbered certificate.

Grant has been an absolute labor of love for me. Jurassic Park became a huge part of my life in the summer of 1993 and my love for it has grown.

I hope you guys like Grant.

Jared

Note: There was a slight miscommunication between my painter Mike and myself (my fault). The trowel was painted brown, but will be metallic in the production run.

I want to thank everyone who pitched in and helped with this project. Keith has been especially helpful all the way through the process in giving me his expert advice on Dr. Grant's costume.

Also, I'd like to thank my sculptor Rocco for the insanely accurate Sam Neil likeness.

Also a big thanks to my painter Mike, who has decades of experience in painting models and miniatures and has delivered an astounding job! He also has been a guide for me in the practical issues surrounding the assembly of the figure. He is a fantastic guy and a good friend.

Lastly I need to thank my wife, who has put up with me as I have invested thousands of dollars in this project.

Please feel free to PM with any inquires.

Jared

Not sure, but it mentions the figure offer would be offered here; but would have to do some tracking on here if it was.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. Those boots look great too but I already know what boots I am going to use.

Re: 1/6 Alan Grant (Jurassic Park) by Caine

I think aci made some khaki ones a while back.

Really? I will have to look into that and see if they will work better. Thanks for the info.

Any more info on that 1/6 Raptor you plan on offering? I am definitely interested.

Re: 1/6 Alan Grant (Jurassic Park) by Caine

The Raptor has to be sculpted completely from head to toe so have to wait till december or january. That's when production starts and possibly around this time next year they'll be available.

Re: 1/6 Alan Grant (Jurassic Park) by Caine

Definitely in for this sculpt but it must be spot on

Added you.

That's what I want too. I have no doubts though with Caine sculpting it.
