Mate, could you post some reference pictures of how the armor pieces look, and how it's worked onto the leather and fur pieces etc... Could be helpful to finish the figure. All I can find online are some promo shots, but nothing too detailed....

The mods finally released my original first post and the pics you asked for are already there. It's right in the middle of page 3.

The forearm and shin pieces are literally just held on by wrapping them in string, kind of like a midieval version of duck tape.

Allright guys, here's how this is going to work.

I've already bought the donor figure that was recomended and will start on the head as soon as it arrives. Once it's done and I've got pictures up, I will contact you all for payment and get them shipped out.

And yes, you can still order them after the pics come in. We're not limited to only 10 casts.

After that I will start on the armor and weapons package. And same as before, you will not need to pay until they are ready to ship.

Hey Ozymandius, you're from theRPF. That 1:1 looks awesome. I'm looking forward to this 1/6 scale one too.

So you're going to do the figure, and head sculpt together, and ship that out to us first? Then there will be the separate armor, and weapons kit? :dunno I just want to be sure I'm understanding it all correctly here. Thanks! :wave

How much for the head/body together?

I've seen on here earlier that the armor kit was going to be $60.00. Will that include any weapons? I think he at least needs a shield with either a sword or battle axe or a mace.

Then the head sculpt/helmet set was also $60.00.

Oz is only making the head with helmet (60$), armor parts (60) and weapons package (??$). The body you'll have to provide yourself; we're using the Hot Toys TTM 19 as reference. But a Flamma body or something will work just as well.

But I'm sure Oz could clarify further...

Yeah, that's pretty much it.

I would have replied sooner, but I got caught up with some work stuff and couldn't get to the computer for awhile. I'll try to get back with some clarification later tonight.

Sorry about the delay in getting back. It's been a crazy few days. But I'll try to answer as many questions as I can and hopefully clear up any confusion.

The pieces I will be doing will be made for you to customize your own 1/6 figure. I will be using this figure linked here to do my test fitting.

I will be starting out with the head and helmet, made as a single piece. Price is set at $60.

While I am working on the head, I will be studying the body to determine the best way to make the armor and will sort out the details as I go. So there are no hard details locked in for that.

What I can tell you is that the $60 I quoted was for just the hard armor pieces, meaning no leather and no fur. However, I am begining to think that making the gauntlets and boots as single pieces with the armor and bindings attached may be the better way to go. Doing it this way would also mean more complicated molds, and that also means a higher price. You may want to discuss this amongst yourselves here to decide whether you would prefer more complete pieces, or a cheaper price.

The weapons have only recently been brought up, and I have not yet figured out how much they would cost or which ones I would need to make. Tentative list right now is the long sword, the short dwarven sword, and the shield.

I've been working on this and it's def. hard to mold the arm piece. As for the body I was thinking something more impressive like the new Heroik KP that's coming out. I like this version mixed with some parts of the in game figure.

I think KP's new body is a little big for the Dovahkiin. He hasn't really been presented as a really muscular character....more fitting of the new Truetype body I think. If you're planning on using the KP Heroik body (or one similar in size) I'd be really interested to see how it turns out though.

nah the KP one is good, it'll look great once suited up, I really like the extra height of the KP body also. The TTM19 is nice also, remember you make your oown character in this game, so body type should vary.

How does the arm and leg armor work exactly, Oz? Do you have any detailed pictures of it? It seems it's a piece of 'metal' that is tied to the arm/boot with some rope? In that case it could be nice to have the pieces separate and tie them ourselves with some real string, to create a more realistic effect...

I've got a lot of prep work to get started, so don't expect anything until about the 15th. I'll be out of town until sometime next week, so I won't be able to get started until then.
