Hicks is already in progress and looking great. https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/...67183-michael-biehn-reese-hicks-sculptor.html
Who's interested in expanding the squad? Need 20 per to green light.

NOTE: These would likely be done over a year or so, with sculpts spread out every 2-3 months. So no reason to worry about breaking the bank.

I want the characters no one has done yet.
As skilled as 'Sculpter' is (and he is VERY skilled), I am not in for upgrades to what we already have. I want new content that fills a void.

If he makes them, I would want

1x Gorman
1x Dietrich
1x Ski
1x Crowe
1x Ferro
1x Spunkmeyer
1x Newt
1x Burke
1x "Cocky" Hudson*

*I would LOVE a $&*+ eating grin (overconfident style) Hudson. I liked cocky Hudson best and no one does him.
If it will just be another neutral expression or whining Hudson, then I don't see the point.

Completely agree with Bigbisont. Hudson with his iconic wisecracking grin would get my vote as that option is not otherwise available and it would be great for it to get the Rocco treatment. I would also be keen for a new Drake and Vasquez - whilst the Hot Toys sculpts can look good with a decent repaint they are not as detailed by today's standards.

I'd be in if I had a set of armor. :(

Yeah, it'd be great to have a few of Aliens' marines, but without having the original Hot Toys figures to upgrade and no reasonable alternative for customized, film-accurate uniforms/armor for them, I think the heads would just sit in a box somewhere.

I think these are doable without having to go the expensive HT secondary route. Let me get a quote from GeeWhiz on the basic fatigues which would get folks started at least. Helmets and armor could also be sculpted. I can also check with a couple of customizers on recommended bash pieces. Colonial Marines, Predator Commandos, and characters from the Abyss are on my 80s sci-if actioners most wanted list.

Do we have an idea on cost? Is the plan to roll them out simultaneously? Thx.

Where is the "like" button?

This is an ambitious project and I can see some potential issues given the volume of sculpts that are being made. For example, someone buys newt, Hudson, and apone and pays for them. But the creator does them last. Naturally the buyer is going going to be looking for his stuff, maybe waiting a year or more. Maybe the buyer gets one and then has to wait for the rest.

I'm thinking a schedule might be in order so that everyone is one the same page as to timing. Without some plan in place this could get unwieldy.

good thinking. I will be interested in heads and items like knifes since I have the armours, outfits and rifles for Hicks and Hudson (the only two I am intested in). Has anyone thought about headlamps that actually light up???
