Arc Reactor on 1/6 body (Arcs from Iron man 1 and 2 available)

Hello Freaks!
I just want to share my collector/ customizer friend’s work of Tony Stark which I was able to see it in person recently. His work was simply mind blowing! Check it out:
Here’s a custom arc reactor on a 1/6 body based on the Iron man 2/ Avengers movie




Here is a back view of the figure. His purpose of having the battery pack hung outside is so that it will be easy for switching/inserting battery. Aren’t like Hot Toys’s version, my friend use a bigger battery so that the light up feature is able to penetrate through the clothing.


Even with a bright background, you can see the arc clearly.




This is ideally where he intended to keep the battery pack. Those bubble wrap behind the battery pack is technically not necessary. He wrapped it around the belly simply to give Stark some belly because the actor gained some weight in the Avengers movie.

Not only did he customized Stark’s arc reactor based on the Avengers movie, he also made one from Iron man 1.

Well the good news is he is willing to make some for sale if any of you are interested. He plans to sell the body shown above with the arc and battery for $115 + $25 economy shipping with tracking. Please note that he is selling only the body with the arc. The headsculpt and clothes are not included. I’ve reattached the picture to show what you are basically getting:

not to rain on your parade, but i picked up the hot toys body on ebay for $76 bucks, and with no battery hanging out the back. although your buddies arc reactor looks a little better than hot toys, it wont matter much under clothing. ebay has these all over the place to be honest,. unless your freind finds a way to offer these even below ebay prices for these i cant see how he can get and kind of volume business? anyway i wish him luck, this skillful he may be better off doing something else without it already being done.
