Wait, are these sculpts meant to fit on the battle-damaged T-800 portrait? Like were they tested and made for them, or is this a generic pair of Gargoyles that can be used for anything (hence the cutting/fitting issues)?

Ray's talking about having the glasses disappear into the hair (by being cut off) at the temples and having the end tip of the glasses arms sticking out behind the ear without any of the middle of arm for a more realistic look. A very clever mod idea for extra realism, but it is a customisers tweak. Our glasses are being made as regular glasses, though will be happy to do this mod version if enough people want it.

Update time:

The third print of the glasses are happening today and being sent direct to the molders, (since this version was approved by Ray). It should reach the molder by the end of the week. :yess:

Awesome news! On sunday i painted up the prototype to show you guys what we are getting... i'll do my best to take some pics later, Im a little unorganized these days just moved... all my lights etc. are gone

Yup. It's at the moldmakers and he's been experimenting with mixing the tints. Hopefully I'll have some finished pics soon!

I am told we will see finished pictures (on a head) from the molder this week (who owns an Ahnold to take pics of them on), which means as soon as they are molded they will then be for sale then too (fingers crossed!!!!)

What I can show you guys to get things more hopeful is what i did with the fitting prototype. Painted them black and cut the ends...

These are NOT the final ones. a rough prototype hand painted...

Are the newer ones smaller though? Only "problem" I can see with these is that they look a tiny bit too big IMO.
Not as big as the HTs ones...but a still a little big.
