Hmmmm.... Rocco: I have to be honest here. I'm feeling a bit unsure of paying a non refundable deposit without seeing a prototype fully haired, painted and with clothes completed.

I understand your concerns, but the material costs are high on my end to prototype just one. I need to get several made to start. My guy will do a stellar job, he is same tailor as my Pirates outfits. I'll get swatches in in a few days, and I'll be posting every step. This project will rock!

My concern is the same as others as well, I'd like to see a rooted prototype at least before I am comfortable paying an NRD on it.

For that $600 do you get a body also. But yeah those deposit amounts seem high.

Same here.
No doubting your skill and am sure the tailor is top notch, but a big chunk to gamble.
Love the enthusiasm but need to see a proto on the clothes or I can’t commit.

Here is my dilemma, a role of purple velvet fabricate is a $1000. So, kick start this I need deposits to order the fabricate to get a prototype made. The oompa and Wonka sculpts were a big risk to me to sculpt, as it took 2 full weeks.

I am trying to source a company for bodies, no luck yet.

Maybe, I'll limit this to 15 people. Please post if you still want or want off the list. I need die hards i suppose. Thanks

I'm agreeing with the other guys. How about we pay for the HS and accessories as the deposit, at least that will get the ball rolling, provide funds to move on. If people want to pull out after that, they will still get something out of it.

Rocco can you not get samples of the fabric for a prototyping?

I think you should have a head skulpt painted and haired. It will let everyone see and payments will then fly in and you can get the ball rolling. A good skulpt can suffer if not painted well or have real bad hair job. You can make one casting from that head with a 9 dollar mold making stuff from Micheals. and some epoxy.

I would feel much better atleast seeing a final of the head. I am sure others would also.
