Ok awesome. Yeah as you can see in the photos it fits on the head great. I am currently working on getting the hat detailed and textured so it looks obviously more real. Other than a few odds and ends it is really the last piece of the set/ to be completed, so I'm working hard on getting it done as soon as possible!

the baseball cap isn't so much of a dealbreaker for me, I understand it's hard to do right. I'm much more in favour for the accurate belt buckle since it will be much more visible at the end then the cap. however if you manage to pull something descent of sculpted, it's always welcome ofc But not a big deal if not

Awesome guys, thanks. I am working on something sculpted right now. Like I said the hat fits on his head just fine as you can see in the photos, it just lacks detail. That is what I am working on currently... adding panel lines, cloth texture, etc. I hope to have something to post relatively soon!

Got in a few things from Hunter today! I wss able to complete the buttons and we now have a Fortune Magazine.

I akso have a decal for the hat and toothpaste tube, though I had a major measuring issues for the toothpaste so I'll need to get another one in.

I also wanted to show off the little fake newspaper I printed and aged. You sort of see it stuffed in the pocket behind the ping pong paddle in the film.

Thanks all!

A few updates. Talked to the caster today; he should be sending me the first shoe casts Monday which means I should have them mid week. This will allow me to paint them up for final appearance. I am also hoping to have the final parts of the hat worked out.

Regarding the shoes: the way I have done shoes in the past is to drill a 9mm hole which should fit a standard ankle insert. I do not mold a hole for a ball joint.

Regarding the hat: At this point I am going with a rigid, 3D modeled and printed hat. I think we'll get a great, consistent look that way. Because I will be printing this on my Form 2 we should be able to achieve a relatively thin hat that won't look bulky or oversized on the head. I hope everyone is ok with that decision.

I have asked for a little help from Sean Dabbs for some of the modeling on the hat that I cannot do on my own so we know it will look amazing. Once that is finished and printed I can paint and weather the hat and apply the Bubba Gump logo. Once we have the hat and shoes... THE PROTOTYPES ARE DONE! And I will be able to put this bad boy of a set up for sale.

Thanks to EVERYONE for your patience as I worked out the prototypes. Once up for sale please remember, with the exception of the decals and paper products, I will be making and painting every single item of the set by myself, so it will be some time before everything should be expected to be done. Please bear with me and know that, as always, I will constantly update the thread with my progress.

Anyway, I can't wait to really kick this into high gear!

While I await a few things I got some preproduction work done.

I printed as many suitcase bodies as I could today... printer ran alllllll day long! And I bought black filament instead of printing white suitcase bodies and then painting them black. And don't worry they'll get a quick dull coat during assembly so the inside of the suitcase doesn't look weird and shiny.

And I printed more of the button pins on the Firm 2. I made some printer adjustments avmnd they look flawless this time

I will start printing toothbrushes, paddles, etc. in anticipation of orders going up soon. Since I have to wait for the shoes and final decals to arrive I figured I'd get a head start otherwise[emoji3]
