Okay I had a lot of time tonight so I worked on the shoes. Hand sculpted fully in clay this time...though a good start with the leather, ultimately this was easier to work with and get the look just right. Let me know what you think!

Nice sculpting on the shoes, they look real good! Any change however they can be casted in a more flexible material at the end replace the laces with real ones? Never been that fond of sculpted laces. That's what bothers me a lot as well with most companies like hot toys, enterbay, they also always do that. I'm not sure if that's possible ofc, if not I'll gladly take sculpted ones

Doc , will you add a visible sole to the front ? I can see it in the rear of the shoe but not the front .

Yes a sole will be added! I am not fully finished with this and the sole is certainly missing, so don't worry.
Regarding real laces, that is a bit more difficult. To do so would require either open holes that laces can be fed through, or, the holes remain closed and "pieces" of laces are added in to LOOK like they were fed through.
Open holes cannot be properly cast so that is probably not possible. Adding I laces in pieces is possible but more time consuming. I can look into it, certainly, but sculpted laces will likely be the way to go.

Ok guys I need opinions. I have made the shoes "clean and new" so I could get the shape/size/proportions correct. However the shoes you all want ate the dirty, used shoes, run across the country, correct?
If so I will age them some via the sculpting process but more via the paint apps. Just making sure!
