Hi all! Picking up the first batch of faceplates tomorrow. Lost two weeks of work here due to this nutty weather. I have 22 cowls waiting to be shipped when I get the face plates tomorrow. I decided to ship them together.

I will start easing out the unpainted sets next week from the order I pick up tomorrow.

If you have a unpainted AND painted order they will not ship until the painted cowl is ready.

Thanks guys. Can't wait to see a painted set!

First shipment to Natchan for painting is heading out this week as well. The face plates will come later but through the trial and error with the cowl molds I DO have 14 GOOD casts

Hey guys - been tied up for weeks but making myself get on here to keep you guys posted.

I have 25 casts I am holding...

Now - the reason is about QC. After serveral hundred dollars in prints and molds - I hope to have ALL issues now settled.

The mouth pieces are coming out great!

Cape clips - CHECK!

Cowl... Man. So the 1st mold had a back split. This did not work for long and probably a dozen were trashed because of warping and breaking when being demolded.

Molds 2, and 3 - side splits. Started great then the shifting began. the shift creates a seam that is VERY hard to sand out and it can be so bad that you start to loose some of the details on the side of the cowl around the ears and jaw area.

So here we are on molds 4 and 5 - two brand new 2 part molds. The first casts should be out this week (Tue) and I will post and update as soon as I get back from the casters shop.

The casts in hand, on hold are being held to see if the quality is better for the new batch. If so I will be scrapping the old ones and use the new ones only.

I hope I am not coming off as obsessive. This is a premium piece and I want it to be the best for you all.

I promise on my own well being this is not a cover up for slacking. I have been working hard with the caster to get you the best product that can be produced.

I will post comp pics to show what I am talking about when I get the test casts this week.
