Takara figure is too skinny and small. Not too bad figure but just too small for the real Batman Begin.
It is more like comic batman. I have it, not to bad and yes you can swap the head but of course not this one or else you can see the newest member of Bobble head at your home.

Has anyone tried this on a takara Figure...I know dumb question.

I think we can trust Dean as I heard from my friends he is a man with his words. He got some difficulties but let us give a try to wait and maybe we can keep contacting him. Hope him well.

I'm going to look for someone to customize the mouth area, to make it more realistic....any suggestions as far a good painter here in the forums, with good turnaround.

By my opinion, painters on Freak are the best. You can choose anybody here who you think suit to your style. I do not think pointing out somebody will be fair judging by each of our finishing preferences too, but I definitely have my own favorite painter here

Hey guys - still unpacking from moving and working 3 jobs So sorry for the rare appearance. :|

I decided to send a larger amount of painted orders to Nat at one time.

I have 75 sets now in hand and was up til around 1am sanding to clean them up. Will be doing more of that through the weekend to ship by monday.

Unpainted will ship out in 2 weeks.

I'll post some pics tonight while I am cleaning some of them up.

I feel that, if someone is offering custom work and taking people's money, they could manage their time better so it doesn't coincide with moving house and starting a new job.

If they realise that there is going to be a delay in the commission work, I think it would be professional and decent to take 60 seconds to log into the forum and post a quick update in the thread.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't becoming a little impatient. :/

The reason being, is this is such a dynamite piece! I recently did the WB tour in Burbank and saw the real suit/cowl up close and personal and CREG's is about as damn close as one can get in 1:6 scale. I'd love to hear an update.

I sent an email over a week ago and no reply. Hopefully we hear something soon.

Hey Guys, Dean just posted this on FB. Just doing a favor and posting it on here.


BEGINS COWL UPDATE: Hello All - I have not been keeping you guys up to date enough with all that's been going on so my apologies.

I said about a month ago I think that I was shipping the unpainted in two weeks. Obviously that didn't happen and here is why.

The proto print ball socket area was too large so I shimmed the opening. I realized that the shim came loose partially in the mold process so ALL casts would not fit on a neck... Well that's a problem.

I have bought countless drill bits and dremel tool bits and thank God a few weeks ago I came across a dremel sanding bit that is an exact size match to the Hot Toys neck ball joint.

So, good news - They now all fit and have all been hand sanded.

Unpainted start shipping next week and painted are off to the painter. I will update those and post a painted cowl pic as soon as I get them.

Thanks to you all for not loosing faith and this project and it is full speed ahead.

On a side note. The necks (tested an old true type and an newer advance neck) the the fit is VERY tight. A small screw driver can get it out cold but I can't promise no cracks or breaking although I have yet to break one getting the necks out from testing. That being said - ***Place the cowl on the neck while the neck is ON the body.*** If you put the neck in the cowl not on the body, the neck can sit too far up in the cowl and will not connect back to the body and you will have to remove it. Hope that makes sense.

If someone want to post this on SSF please feel free. I will not be able to log on there until morning. I can't get on there from home tonight. I will have to do it from work in the morning.

Honestly how hard is it to update your customer base. He still hasn't come in here and commented on anything. That's bad business.
