Simply add up all the items you are getting plus shipping and send as gift or add 4% for the fees.

For payment my PP address is [email protected].

Hello fellow freaks, I am posting a thread to offer both a 1:6 scale "Bleeding Cross" as seen in the Renunciation of God scene from 1992's Bram Stoker's Dracula as well as the smaller, handheld cross seen in the opening scene of the film.

I did extensive research on the bleeding cross and have replicated, as accurately as I think is possible, all segments of the cross in bas relief. The cross also has an opening in the center (not in the posted pictures, but updated pictures will be postedn soon) for the sword to be stuck into. I will be building a hidden structure within the cross for the sword to safely stick into without damaging it.

I have finished the 3D modeling and sculpting and I will be producing casts soon. I will be offering unpainted casts as well as a painted version. I have not decided if the painted version will truly have the "bleeding" appearance or if people would prefer a "clean" version. Perhaps let me know in the comments what you all might think.

I am just in the process of modeling the smaller handheld cross and so I do not yet have pricing. However it should be relatively inexpensive. Once I have more of the modeling done I will update the thread with pricing information.

Please let me know your interest for both the bleeding cross and the handheld cross, painted or unpainted. I will not take any payment yet but I should be ready for that soon. If people want to see a painted version before committing I understand, and once I have the first cast painted I will update the thread. I am hoping for that to be before the weekend is up.

The quoted price so far is just for the large cross. I don't have a price for the smaller cross yet but I will soon.

List updated.

Molding the large cross tonight. Will work on the handheld cross and show off some renders soon.

Further interest anyone?

Re: Bram Stoker's Dracula Bleeding Cross, opening scene handheld cross

Ok here are the only even decent images of the handheld cross. They are good enough to get the shape and thickness of the cross, but there are absolutely NO details of the front visible. As such I am just sort of winging it, going with crosses in the style of 18th century Romania. IKE has provided me with some reference images to base the styling off of.

Posted below is my first render of the cross. I will add in a few more details, including a possible crucified image of Jesus in the center, sort of "etched" in, but we'll see.

I am thinking about gold leafing the cross for a real, authentic gold metal look.

Re: Bram Stoker's Dracula Bleeding Cross, opening scene handheld cross

Oh yeah. Painted please sir.
Thank you

I'd like an unpainted large cross. This will look great with the Scaletta set.

Doc put me in for both painted !

List updated!

I will probably do a first cast tonight, can't wait to show it off! Should be followed by a painted version soon to show off.

Any opinions from those wanting a painted version regarding whether it should have the blood on it or not?

Re: Bram Stoker's Dracula Bleeding Cross, opening scene handheld cross

Very nice work on that - looks fantastic - and a fair price.

Put me down for an unpainted large cross and a handheld cross too, please!

I may change my mind and ask for painted later, if that's okay? :duff

These are from the Bram Stoker's Dracula pinball machine, but I think it gives an idea of what it looks like:

Got you down.. and sure, unpainted for now, just let me know if you change your mind! I am hoping to have a painted version to show soon so people get a better idea.

And wow, thanks for the cross images. That gives me a great design to work off of, and they are very similar to the cross pictures IKE sent me. How does everyone feel about the jewel in the middle? The pictures IKE sent me had a crucified Jesus in the middle. The jewel would be much easier to do and likely look better.
