Also, from looking at how the coat is in the films, it almost seems like a material similar to what the custom Batman capes are made of may work, since the coat is leather and drapes very heavily.

Honestly didn’t think about which film, I just assumed the first one but I don’t really care either way, I’ve just always preferred the first over the second. :dunno

I'm not the guy you want for this anyways. I can't do better than the shots you already have. I'm not the guy that goes into every miniscule detail on clothes. Sorry. I do have a TON of hellboy collectibles but they vary in looks.

I couldn't tell you the difference Between one and two in the cloak department anyways.

Guys, please vote.. do we want to base the jacket from the first movie?, or the second?, because I do think the material can be a bit different.
I think Hellboy have these two type coat material in each movie depending on the scene. Like this one:

Material A:



Material B:



So please choose and give some opinion.

I personally like the more faux leather type coat material, it hang better and look different compare to the HT one.
