Has Iris said the leather coat from the first Hellboy film is a go yet, or are we still waiting to hear back?

Sweet! I figured it was but just wanted to be sure, it’ll be nice having his look from the first, that will set it apart from the HT release and all of the knockoffs coming out.

I know hahaha, I just hope Iris will nailed this. I definitely need Hellboy 1 figure in my shelf, and I aim to make this accurate as possible.

I will post here when I received the sample photo and I also ask her to provide some options, so we can discuss and pick the right material together hehe

Can’t get any better than this, mina sculpt is a must. Definitely recommend all the guys in here to purchase one, it’s the only way to go with this outfit hoho...

Hi guys, just got an update from Iris and Denny. We will see some proto probably in late January. Which I think it’s awesome.

On this project Iris probably will handling this project by herself, because recently her employee got fired because of some problem. So that’s probably a good news for us because she’s handling this project directly.

Can’t wait, can’t waitttt...

Still very excited for this!


Hopefully we see something soon, I sent the Mina sculpt to T-Squared to get painted and possibly haired, along with the HT body for color matching.

The leather duster is gonna be so sick on this guy. :yess:

Guys just got updates from IRIS, she said she can't find real leather material with the same exact color and real leather is too thick and will not look quite natural for the coat.

So she find this poly fabric material, which I THINK LOOKS PRETTY DOPE!, and looks pretty close with the picture I've sent her.

What do you guys think?, any feedback are very much welcome



I love how the brown fabric looks old and weathered, I kid you not guys, this will looks freakin awesome!

Sounds good to me, I agree it looks perfect and I also agree with Iris that it needs to be thin so it falls/drapes correctly and looks "heavy" on the figure like the real deal. I worried about the leather being in option from the beginning because I thought it may be difficult to find it thin enough, but I was hoping for it obviously. As a bonus, maybe this material is a lower cost?

Glad you liked it man, I tottaly blown away with the color. It really match perfectly.

And for the costing part, I don’t think it will change man.
