I appreciate that you want to sell this, but I don’t think you’ll find many takers for this without the head. It’s a period in time specific look, and without the head, you sort of miss the best part of the figure.
No disrespect, but maybe you should try posting in the sales forum rather than here. You're just sending alerts to those of us that have already purchased this and are following this thread for updates.

Sorry everyone, the casts will be delayed again. I’m not satisfied with what I received yesterday. I messaged the caster.

No worries - I’d rather have it done right and take a little longer. Thanks for your attention to detail and the timely updates (as always)
This is what I let caster know:
All the casts I received have a long scratch along the side of face to the mouth. All of them. The same scratch

also defects/imperfections in nostrils and ears on a lot of the sculpts:

I messaged the caster that each sculpt needs to be virtually flawless.
If this caster cannot deliver, I will hire different caster

Caster agreed to redo the casts to eliminate the defects that were present in the recent batch.
Production will start immediately. We’re looking at 4-5 weeks until I receive the new batch.

Joa’s sculpt looks incredible, just needed to make sure everyone gets a perfect cast.

That's not a scratch. It's a print line/ defect that then was cast into every copy. Notice how perfectly straight across it is? Not that it matters... just wanted to mention it!

Caster told me the same. He looked at the master print again and it’s on the master.
Because the master was printed on blue/gray resin, he thinks it made it harder to see the defect.
So he will reprint the new master in flesh tone resin color to help see any print lines better.

I have to say, every time I see new pictures of this sculpt, it’s always a major improvement over the previous version. The accuracy and detail are fantastic and it’s only due to your drive and perseverance that we will be getting such an incredible figure. Thanks for making this happen!

Every time there was a setback, we took time to make small improvements.
I’m excited/relieved it all came together in the end.
SculptorJoa never complained but I know I must have driven her crazy with all the changes I asked her over the many months! My appreciation to her for incredible patience with me.
These were the earliest versions:

The first casts from last Nov. were a disaster.
I never showed the group but the sculpt had way too much rippling in the cheeks. He looked old or like bad skin condition.
So we then removed all the excess rippling.
Plus, the face looked like it got squeezed somehow in the casting process. The nose became very thin. Everything looked very odd.
Joa and I communicated on additional changes until we finally got everything perfect. Such a learning experience this has been.
I thank everyone for their patience.

He certainly needed that facelift
I’d be curious to hear Joa’s take on all of the changes. I’m sure she has to be thrilled with the final product, plus I’d bet she got a lot out of it in terms of technique. I’d like to think it was all worth it to her, as well.

update regarding sculpts: the caster expects to have the re-done casts completed this week.
Perhaps I can receive the shipment the following week.
