Commander Shepard - Interest?

Ok, so I've been waiting for the longest time for a decent Cmdr Shepard head sculpt based on the cannon version but none have come up!

So pondering as I do I was wondering how many others out there in custom land would be interested in one?

Obviously the armour and weapons are an issue, there is female armour out there but not male so I would be interested in hearing from anyone that would be up for tackling this part. However my main goal was to have Shep on my shelf in any way I could manage, so N7 hoodie, casual wear etc are possible.

Ultimately I just wanted to gauge interest and if enough people step up then I will speak to a few good people and see if we can't get the ball rolling :hi5:

Would be potential for other characters further down the line if this gets off the ground.

Yes and possibly a lot will not want one for the same reason, as it's not all our chosen version so unfortunately this won't please everyone

My Shep was similar so I'm happy to have this version so long as I have a 1/6 version on my shelf I don't mind

I'm actually in the process of making a custom shepard.
At the moment, I'll be using a generic head, but I'm down for a default Shepard.

If you guys need decals, I just commissioned corrose to make me some decals just yesterday.

I think the main obstacle is the armor and weapons.

But then I went with default as my Shepard.

3D printing may be the answer if everybody wants the armour but cost could be an issue. Something I was going to investigate but I think we would easily be talking $150+

Even sculpted armour I think would be quite costly :/

I got a set of those decals for my Femshep, thanks Remy! Can't wait to get her finished up now, need a decent head sculpt for her to!

I'm all in for anything ME. Originally I made my own Shep but then forsaw issues like this one possibly arising so I went back and played default Shep, actually became more attached to him too!

It's not as great as it looks, you have to do a lot of customising to make it fit well/ look good. It won't work right out of the box, it also doesn't come with the shin pieces, belt,N7, or some other parts, I made those But it's a good starting point.

I'd be interested in the head and armor and all. Sounds pretty daunting though.

It doesn't come with the head or body, that's a custom I painted.

Loving your Femshep Tek and yes the armour is by Flirtygirl and sold my SMG customs. I have a set myself which I have yet to tackle but straight out of the box it's nowhere near perfect! :slap But hey it gives us a Femshep at least.

I'm speaking to various people about armour and weapons so will keep people updated. I can see fitting being a pain though.

I think the best body to use would be the new ACI Andrew bodies as they are pretty easy and cheaper to pick up.

I'm going to go ahead and try and get the armour done anyway, so I can test fit and hopefully resolve any issues before possibly offering the sets out.

I really need to get an idea on numbers so I'll start a list on the first page, listing those interested in the head sculpt and those that would only be interested in the head sculpt if the armour was available.

I've had an awesome artist volunteer for the head sculpt :yess:

Default head sculpt and armour for me....pending of course on how the prototype looks. I think the ACI Christian body would be a good fit with the armour on it as well.

I'm speaking to a pro now on the armour so fingers crossed. As and when I get updates I'll post them on the armour front. I'll be carrying out all the test fitting etc before selling any thing to ensure there is a good fit on the ACI body.

Good to hear!! Just curious but the boots might have to built with the armour for it turn out right, as it looks like a one piece suit.
