While both have a satirical look at the media, I feel the real message of Nightcrawler is more focused on what the current economic climate and capitalism in the US has done to some people within our society.

Absolutely. They're both dark satires on the media, so their similar in that way, but they also both also have other different message from each other. I agree about how NC touches on the effects of the recession, and it also touches on the power and influence of the internet on this generation (his education).

I am also going to see it again this weekend Mike, I think this will go down as another cult film, just like NBK, American Psycho, and Taxi Driver, which Nightcrawler all shares similarities with.

I thought the same thing and caught vibes from those same movies. I don't think this will be an instant classic, but this will definitely amass a cult following over time
Is there any cult movies that are instant classics, Idk if Taxi Driver is considered a cult film? as it was nominated for Best Picture and made quite a bit of money for its time. Just thinking out loud here, as Taxi Driver is still not too mainstream for most people.

finally saw the film tonight, I was honestly blown away!
I had heard good things but I wasnt expecting to love it the way I did. Everything I always personally found cheesy and over the top about Drive was all approached perfectly in Nightcrawler. A really fantastic directorial debut that's for sure!
as for the figure, I'll be watching the thread, and loving the film, but Im not sure i really feel the need for a figure of Lou just yet.

Need to check this movie out. Hear good things.
The sculpt price is TBD as are the accessories, but the outfit will likely be around $250.
do you know if the sculpt will come with Ray Ban Glasses? got to have them. also for accessories need the camera as was mentioned before and yes that would be awesome if the camera had some led light up features.
