Well, yet another new figure set announced by Asmus for M ("Girl Crush"), and yet we get nothing for this ******* project we've invested a ****-load of money to. I've ******* had it with these ******** custom projects where we're expected to PAY UP FRONT for **** that hasn't even been ******* made yet. How about we only pay a portion up front -- and we pay the balance when we see the end is near -- or we pay the artists directly, instead of trying to go through a third party who ends up running off with our ******* money! And, of course, since it's demanded that we send ALL the money right away -- and so ******* long ago -- we have absolutely no recourse in getting our money back through PayPal. I've lost all patience for this sort of ********! I've been working one on one with an artist to make projects for me and NOT ONCE does he ask me for money up front. And somehow, it's all worked out, and we're both happy. This demanding everything get paid up front -- sending thousands of dollars, only to be put in a several year-long queue, because they start working on 30 other projects at the same damn time -- to then never seeing the end result is ******* INSANE!!!! FINISH ONE ******* PROJECT BEFORE YOU START ANOTHER ONE, *********!!!! Then maybe people won't fall off the planet before all the money comes through. Expecting people to stay in touch on projects that go on for 3 - 4 years, and expecting their circumstances will never change (death, loss of job, loss of interest, etc.) is beyond ******* stupid.

Have we all emailed Johns personal address ? Let’s all do this... it’s reached the point where we have a Moe or a Zhas Sayes or a we are toys situation. Guys who totally ****** off and robbed us and gave us sob stories about hard times thinking it’s ok to disappear wirh thousands of of dollars and never resurface again.

I want to give John the benefit of the doubt here but he asked us to PM him to get our stuff... I’ve even offered my help personally... and he does not even have the decency to send my stuff much less respond to me. It’s pretty disgusting. It took me a lot to turn on him as I tried to defend him in the beginning. This is reaching critical mass.

John you still have a chance to redeem yourself , be a good person and do the right thing here.

So, with this project besides the clothes, are all the heads gone too? I had ordered & paid for multiple heads too.

I was in contact with Mark Simpson a month or so ago, and I tried contacting him again just recently, but never got a response — even though he said he was working on finishing up mine and one other. Now, nothing. The fact that he’s been paid, and was told by John to send the heads to people himself, but now, not even he’s responding is seriously pissing me off.

I just heard from Mark Simpson. Question: has everyone who has paid for the head sculpts (with the exception of myself, Elgreco, and Xoalse) received them from Mark? The last three he will try to get done this week. He also said he’d try to get on the board this week to reply, and that he’d see if he can’t get ahold of John. He’s just as unhappy about how things have turned out...

I never got anything.

Sculpt set - Two full sculpts (one just hair and one w/hat) - $80

Bald Sculpt (to be haired or wig added) - $70

Fellas, check your PayPal accounts. Mark Simpson just replied to another email I sent him. Here is his reply:

As for heads for the 2 guys you mentioned (thewhatwhatnow and pcleemake) , I've just been through my PayPal records and I don't have any record of them paying for the paintwork, obviously I'm not sure of real names, but every payment I had for the run so far had screen names attached and all have gone out barring the hair work ones, pcleemake was just down for the set so his are waiting to go. Maybe there was confusion that the sculpt price included painting, or maybe payment went to someone else? But I believe my records to be correct, hopefully, but if they could check that would be great from their end.

On the hands and boots I've not heard anything, I would have normally done a bundle/price/cost for something like that with the heads factored in, so I'm sorry to say I've not heard or received anything."

I know I paid for boots and hands, as well -- but I'm going to have to check my records to find out who I sent the money to.

I’m just soo done with his bs excuses he can’t be trusted no more and this is total **** show whole situation makes me sick just like everyone else here like I tried to reach him in every possible way and he’s not even responding that really pisses me off
