So, once the expression is finalised, what needs to be answered would be whether to make the cowl work with current HT mouth pieces or to make a completely new one, right?

Should not even be a consideration.

The ONLY thing the sculptor needs to be worried about is getting as close to 100% accurate as possible :lecture

Yeah - after seeing comp pics the shape is wrong.

So it will be one mouth. Somewhat neutral and looking down. I will not however add the bunched up rubber in the front of the neck that results from him looking down. Not interested in that much accuracy.

The cape clasps will be part of the cowl. Will probably have a peg underneath to hold a custom or HT cape in place.

I gotta say I'm excited to see this one. Prob late summer early fall for this one.

The thing that inspired this sculpt to begin with it the poster pose. Which I immagine as having a serious look to it. Personally I'm not interested in a very angry look so I guess I'm a little bias on the final product :lol

i'm totally in for a looking down cowled head! that would be my 1st choice.
tho we really could use a Joker that both looks like Ledger, yet has the maniacal smiling or laughing aspect that embodies the character of Joker. out of all the sculpts over the years, there were only ever 1 or 2 and they were very scene specific. i'd love something like this (3rd pic is my fave)...
