I would like to know because I'm on an interest list for the dog. I really do think they will include the dog and head with what was already offered. It doesn't make sense that they would offer another set after people already ordered.

He told me awhile back that it is an add-on. It may be that Denny hasn't sent out the e-mail yet, but it would be a pretty significant freebie for something folks already paid for, not expecting it.

The final body will be a muscle body, not the one in the promotional pics. But I'm guessing the head(s) will be the same.

Strange thing is, I received an email from Mr X AND also from MJ Choi - did he do sculpting work for this project? I thought he was done with commissions.

I don't really think either sculpt is a strong Gibson sculpt, so I would just go for the dog. But it's up to how much you like the sculpt. I don't think it's going to be changed now.

I'm sure they have a team of painters, but obviously they didn't do so well on the original sculpt, as it was mentioned it is getting a different paint job. I agree that neither sculpt is great, but the BD helps in my opinion. I'm on an interest list for a new sculpt which promises a better likeness, but you know how that goes. Might be a dud. I'd prefer to display this BD head over the regular, but it's another big chunk of change added to what I've already plunked down for the figure.....and I want the dog.
