What body is he on, Machew? Is he short like Pacino in relation to your other 1/6 figures?

Yep he's pretty much to scale height wise. He's shorter than a normal 1/6 figure(not HT Marty short). I think they used the same body as the Michael Corleone figure, which was a zwco body to my knowledge.

They used the Narrow (TTM18) knock off for Neil and they used the Slim (TTM22) KO for both Michael & Hanna. Michael has a thick heel on his shoes and Hanna's are flat so it makes Hanna even a touch shorter than Michael, which I really like.

These KO's have come a long way. IDK if I just got a good one but I felt no need to swap to an official TT. This is solid and sturdy.

Got my Vincent today. Loving this figure so much. It's one of the more lifelike pieces I own. I added the Kevlar vest will have to find a more accurate one soon. Also taped his colt inside the jacket to look as its holstered like in the film. I'm loving all the accessories all very screen accurate. My only gripe is Vincent colt was suppose to have white grips. And the whole gun came black. So I just repainted the grips myself. Easy fix. Not much bad to say. It's an incredible piece! Loving the pics you guys are posting! Here's a few of my setup

Alright, just got my pair (#2, no less) and busted them open. One of my all-time grail pairs. Very happy that Mr. X went through and did them!

Impressions:
-Hanna is an excellent figure. Head is great, even though it is a tad smaller than Neil's. Also, the glasses holes are a bit more visible than I'd like.
-I really like Hanna's jewelry.
-Only nit with Hanna is that the pocket on his left breast is a faux pocket - just a sewn on piece of fabric. This means that the badge cannot attach to it. Not sure how I am going to resolve that.
-Neil is a mixed bag. I love the head and think that it looks much better than the protos, especially with a strong light that creates contrast and shadows. Shirt collar and tie is very nice. Jacket looks good. Just those accessories...
-The secret item was Neil's duffle, which is great, but it also highlights how frustratingly incomplete the figure is. He has the money bag but no gloved hands, money to put in the bag, or assault vest. If you don't plan on finishing off your Neil with Craftone parts then the bag is kind of superfluous.
-Guns on both figures are a little rough. The butt-stock of Neil's M4 is very rough, as is the bottom of the pistols. Hanna's rifle barrel is not drilled, and this looks like it has a plug in it.

Overall, I am pleased, but I do kind of hate having to track down extra parts (vest w/magazines and hands for Neil, vest and pistol holster for Hanna) for an expensive custom figure set. Very happy to have these though, and they are far better base figures than any other Heat figures available (in my opinion, of course). Once I get them finished, I believe they will be one of my favorite sets of figures that I own.

Nice pics Matt and good review on both parts. I agree with a lot of both the ups and downs you both mentioned.

I didn't really spend enough time with Neil yet. The sculpt definitely has a good amount of De Niro in it, but where I think it got lost was in the overall shape of the head. This is more round and De Niro has a slightly more narrow and elongated head (especially in this movie with the way his hair was).

I did get to spend a lot of time on Hanna and I agree he's a really nice piece. The suit is fantastic and puts the "custom" in custom being tailored to the Slim body, and the accessories are all very nice and are as accurate as can be for this level of production & price point. The sculpt is nice but the paint up on this lets it down a bit for me. I know that there are challenges in achieving a natural skin tone because most producers, both mass producing and custom all seem to struggle with this. Whether it be Hot Toys or anyone else, the complexion usually looks too dark or tan for the character, and on occasion it's the flip side of that when it's too pale or pasty. But this is even more pasty-grayish than Young Capo. I didn't take as much issue with Capo as some others did, but this is a little too washed out.

The choice of eye color could've been handled better too. They did a good job on Neil and I think the same approach would've been perfect for Hanna. Like Matt said earlier, Neil's eyes are sort of dark grayish. But that reads better as hazel/light brown in this scale than the grey-green they went with for Hanna. To the naked eye, you can tell Neil's eyes aren't exactly brown, but they don't appear too light to where it throws off the likeness.

My only other disappointment was his pistol. Like you both said, it was shown to us as the accurate color in the protos and it showed up with black grips as opposed to the accurate ivory color.

Overall, Hanna is a solid figure and I'm happy with him despite needing some additions and upgrades. I'm looking forward to getting to Neil now

Nice pics boys and gald to hear you're diggin' them!

Looks good with the Brothers Production vest, Marty

ymba... no Tony?!?!? Great line up though

Well said Mike! I got to agree with you about the paint applications on Hanna. I wish they would've painted the eyes dark brown. And the skin definitely could be darker. But other than those points, it's an amazing figure! I can't get over how lifelike it is. Money well spent on this one

Anybody know if it's true that Al's eye color changed from dark brown to green/greyish tone as he got older? I was googling his eye color and some people said it changed. At the end of "Heat" you get a very nice close-up of Hanna's eyes and it looks greyish.

I was finally able to unwrap the figures yesterday. I really like the set, they look great together. I was suprised to see such a size difference in the figures, but then remembered that DeNiro is about 5' 10" and Pacino is 5' 7". Aside from the pistol grips not being ivory, I was also a little suprised at the size of DeNiro's noggin.

I think it's all filters. You find some pictures of older Al with brown eyes, and some pictures of younger Al with greyer eyes.

Pics to back this theory up:

Spoiler Spoiler:

What kind of sunglasses had Al in heat?

Not sure about the brand but the one that came with CK's Hanna is pretty accurate in my opinion.

Finally got around to enhancing Hanna with a few extra bits. Craftone ring, vest, pistol & holster and a HT T1000 walkie.

Hopefully I'll have time to get to Neil tomorrow but he's going take a lot more work than Hanna. I got the full Craftone set to play around and maybe mix and match with the CK set to find the best formula.

I was trying to get a macro shot of the watch and I was surprised as hell to see they got the Bvlgari logo on there! Impressive!
