Any Updates on this? anyone know if Denny will be sharing photos of the revised paint job for butch he talked about? I'd really like to order these but i feel shaky about purchasing something before i see proof of the resolved issues.

Received Butch and Sundance on Saturday, but I have not had a chance to open it yet, hopefully this afternoon.

I got them opened and displayed. My camera is awful so I will allow the more skilled of us to give you all pictures. My quick thoughts:

-I don't see much difference between the protos and the in-hand figures. Butch's jacket fits better and the head looks better, but I think that is more credit to having the figure in hand and not really any change to the paint.
-I don't know if this was always going to be this way, but the bodies are on KO narrow bodies with the separate neck piece, not a truly chested body like a HT Han Solo. Disappointing but fixable.
-I really like the outfits. The shirts especially are big step ups from past affairs that I have owned, anyways. They have magnetic enclosures like Yunsil uses as opposed to the old strip of velcro. Also, the holsters are a very supple, flexible leather and I am not worried about warping the pistols like I was with the GBU figures.
-I still am not a fan of molded resin boots. Oh well.

This is a good set of a fantastic duo. Very happy to have them.

Just opened the box and I have to say that I am really happy with both figures. The clothing it top notch, the molded boots look great. My only issue is the paint, especially on Newman is pretty dark. Granted they lived in the west and South America, so their skin tone should realistically be darker, but both Redford and Newman were fair skinned. I'm adding a couple quick out of the box, non-futzes pictures.
