Really like these kinds of releases, so great when figures are made from older films.

This will be a very classy release!

Hope it gets a lot of attention/interest.

To be completely honest I am disappointed.
This film is in my personal top 10 favorites which I guess set my expectations a little high and the sculpts unpainted look amazing. Just not feeling these paint apps at all.

Sundance looks good. Something happened between sculpt and proto with Butch - I don't really know what. I hope it is just paint.

Unfortunately I am also underwhelmed... I thought that i was just maybe being too critical, but something just isn't at the top of its game here. Those sculpts are the best possible likenesses of the two - I really think the paints have not helped either.
I had very high expectations due to all the fantastic recent releases, But this release seems a bit of a backward step in quality and final product.
Butch's Jacket needs to be redone to be honest.

I agree. Newman unpainted looks scary good and painted it looks like a different sculpt and a lot worse. And is it me or are the necks too thin?

I thought that Butch sculpt was going to destroy, but it looks odd painted. Not sure I'm into the hair on the unhatted sculpt either. I think Sundance is alright though. I was excited when I received the email, but wound up purchasing nothing.

These would really benefit by having a higher quality, exposed neck. The thin, shiny KO Truetype necks they are given do the rest of the package no favors. Seems like Newman's cast may have been slightly deformed from the raw sculpt? I think the Redford one still looks really good, in itself.

I agree, the Redford looks really good, just like the unpainted sculpt. here is where the Butch/Newman is off: the unpainted sculpt has thinner cheeks and a wider mouth. The painted sculpt has a much fuller face, cheeks are puffy, especially near the jawline. Also, the facial hair should be a little higher on the face. Dodn't know if the mouth can look better with a wider paint app of the lips and possibly the cheeks can look thinner a change in paint tones. Here are two photo's for comparison:

Yeah I was stoked out of mind for these (see my avi) but now really hope that Butch's sculpt gets addressed. CK has had issues with perfect-looking protos turning into weird looking painted samples before.

At this point I may just get the head sculpts unless H+C are offered. Sundance looks good but Butch does not look nearly as nice as I was hoping. Could be the paints. I also think necked would have looked better. Outfits are a bit underwhelming.

100% agreed with you. The necks and seemingly a slight warping in in the sculpt are really throwing off Butch. Neck aside, I like Sundance though.

Just looking at the pics again......

I think if the paints are addressed and Newmans jacket is retailored (even a different material) - just whack them on different bodies and I think this will be a killer set...

Agree. These are right up my street and I think they turned out pretty good in general, but I really don't understand the reasoning behind the neckless sculpts. They stand out a mile. It was the same with the Lost Boys David that just dropped. Makes him look like a bit of a pin head who has plastered fake tan all over his neck but forgot his face.
