Working on my Custom The Bat-Bunker Diorama, I wanted to create a suitable street-like surface on the top.
Here's how it turned out:

streetb.jpg

I thought some of you would might like suitable diorama bases for your vehicles and figures,
so by now I'm working on these two scene-specific layouts:

1/6 Diorama base, suitable for the "Hit me!" scene:

1/6 Diorama base, suitable for the "We got you!" scene:

Dimensions:

  • Big base, will be approx. 28" x 20"
  • Small base, suitable for Detolfs
  • Custom base, various sizes possible

Please let me know if you're interested, what scene-specific layout you would like (also other suggestions might be possible) and what approx. base size you would need.

Thanks!

Looking really good

Thank you Tony!

Hi mate! Really interested in batpod crash scene street.Estimated cost?

Hi! :) Depends on the size you need, every size - due to shipping up to 44" x 20" (approx. 112cm x 51cm) - will be possible.

As an example: A base of 28" x 20" (approx. 71cm x 51cm) will be enough to display a nice part of the street area suitable for this scene.
The estimated price will be 170$, including tracked shipping to anywhere in the world.

Think this is fair, right? :)
But let me make an example to show you, soon.

Also think about a small version, suitable to fit into the Detolf. This would just not fit the Bat-Pod for example but will give a nice display environment as well.
The estimated price for this will be 60$, also including tracked shipping to anywhere in the world.

I'll of course paint all road marks in the same scale, there will just be a larger area on a larger base.

An 1/6. Street light will be a great edition...:yess:

Re: Custom 1/6 Street Diorama Bases

You know, I'm a great fan of illuminating things in unique ways. :lol

The suitable street light could become an optional add-on. It's not much more but the idea and the dimensions atm but I'll keep working on this.

you should make a sidewalk for the batpod to weave through while dragging the metal wire. That way you can incorporate your lighted lightposts

That's a nice idea, thank you! Doing things like this one starts to realize that 1/6 is not that small, right? :lol
Think the distance between two street lights would probably exceed the maximum base length but I'll think about this.

Got sent original detailed road mark information. :yess:

If you're addicted to accuracy, you got to know who deals with details.

By the way, welcome to my self-made micro-sized "home office".
Got tired of the boring walls one day and don't really have a green thumb... :lol

"We got you!" sounds better than the actual "We got you, you !§&#! ..." :lol, thanks!
Realized that the Joker was walking quite a distance between the two scenes, so both wouldn't fit on one base properly.

So for now there will be two layouts, one for the "Hit me!" diorama and one for the "We got you!" diorama.

Quite time consuming for the after work hours :lol
