That vid convinced me. That and the feedback Tony has been getting for this thing. It looks great.
I'm looking forward to comparing it myself. I'm sure I'll be blown away by this once I throw it on. I love the way it attaches to the neck and how form fitting it is. I never hated the original cape that Hot Toys gave us though, I liked it quite a bit. I know people despised it, but I was pleased. Once you spent time on it, the out come was fantastic. Anyone remember those customs of '89 Batman before we got these official pics? The capes were horrible. I think Hot Toys did a great job and the rods for the cape pose were accurate and a nice touch. The only thing they should have done, which has been stated before, is include a second, single layered cape without out wire for "neutral" poses.
Tony's is clearly looks better though from the weight and flow alone.
I think when the Batmobile starts to ship, the interest in this cape will be even greater, especially with the Returns figure on the way. I wonder if Tony has thought about making a "Batmobile Cape" template (a shorter version, half length that comes to the torso) for a sitting Batman like they did in the film. That'd be cool.
