I bought both of those capes and they make the figures look so much better. I love the natural drape effect for the dx09, and the long cape makes the dx 12 look more like the art from Neal Adams or Todd McFarlane

Got mine in today. Really unbelievable cape. Just unbelievable quality for a custom operation. The way the material sticks to itself is brilliant, and really makes the drape effect work. Great work, Tony and Crystal.

Hopefully you will get them fast. I have the long cape on the dx12 and it drapes nicely over the base. Very nice centerpiece. You will love Tony's work.:yess:

Tony, out of curiosity...the material you used for the DX09 capes, is that something you designed and had made/ordered yourself? I don't want to get into any trade secrets or anything, I just wanted to say that if it is something you had a hand in making, it's really a genius effort. It's easily the best custom cape I've ever seen, both in material and execution.

At first I was worried because when I took both of them out, they were stuck to each other and I had to peel them away. They were even stuck to themselves. I'm guessing that's just the material. I see in people's pics that it sort of stick at the seams.

Once I got it worked out, I put it on my Batman figures and they look even better. The fit and cut is perfect. Thanks again.

Yes, its special made to my sepcific need. It not easy to find a pleaher like fabric for 89 Batman , and enable to make ti drape, special additive needs to be apply on to create the softness on this fabric. The texture fabric was also specially made to get as close to the cowl as possible.

The goal is to make it drap like the movie and still have the texture on to match the cowl.

I did the best we can, I know its not 100% movie like, but when shrink from 1:1 to 1/6, this is what we vision it should be.

The additive is a bit sticky to each other. When open up a roll of vinyl or pltheather like fabric from manufatory, its often experience this effect. Once its opened up and wear on the figure, it'll be fine : ) glad you like it
