Speaking of wire cape.

Tony, any chance or possibility you will do wire cape for your custom DX09 fabric cape? I may have to hold out for that if so.

I just got the Batmobile and wanted to pose the DX09 turned around with the cape whiplash effect but I hate futzing the bulky stock cape anyway.

Tony, The new capes are very impressive. I like the new wired cape and the sealed 89 cape. I was wondering if the Superman cape for the Reeve figure could also be custom made to be longer than the Hot Toys version.

Yup, mine too. The tailoring on the cape is fantastic Tony, but it's a lot blacker and stiffer and glossier than the first version I have.

The 2.5 Cape actually does look darker in the pictures that Tony posted on page 1

I was finally about to order my one but it does stand out a bit so now I'm not sure.

Snop, could you pop a pic up so I can see yours in hand first?

I love by DKR cape so wanted to do the DX09 as well

I got my DX09 cape from Tony and I'm so very happy with it. I too thought it was a bit too shiny and darker than the figure, but with a bit of baby powder applied throughout and then dabbed with a cloth it really blends in with the figure amazingly! It also adds a bit of texture and weathering that makes it even more convincing.

Still working on how I want it to drape and might have rubbed off a bit of the powder posing the cape, but this is definitely a ton better than the stock cape it came with.
