Still working on how I want it to drape, but this is definitely a ton better than the stock cape.

Received my deluxe DX09 cape from tony today and I have to say its awesome! The quality of Work man ship is superb the material is extremly nice its a 1000 times better than the stock cape, money well spent In my humble opinion :clap

Unfortunately my photography skills are poor so I can't take a decent to show you all sorry tony :slap

I wouldn't put baby powder near a rubber body?
It could dry/crack it.

I've never heard that before. As long as it's unscented (scented might have oils) it should be fine and it doesn't really touch the body anyway. Rubber deteriorates naturally over time, but I think oil from our hands handling it would have more of an adverse effect. Talc is used for casting rubber, both latex, urethane, etc. so I don't think it would cause a problem.
This is just how I personally chose to use it.

You can get industrial talc (no additives or perfumes) from Micro-Mark. I've used it to cast rubber-in-rubber. Great stuff.

Yes, but as a separator, the oils in the rubber could dry/cure faster with a talcum powder present IMO. The reason talc is used on latex and rubber is to stop it sticking together by drying the outer layer's tackyness.

If it's not touching the body though, it doesn't really matter anyway.

Look at the first page, I made a prototype for 1/6 already. But the cape length will be readjust again once the final figure is in hand. :wink1:

There are couple goals I would like to accomplish, and since the size it's larger, we are able to try out some of our new technique discovered from al, these years of making capes.... I'm very excited to work on this

Awesome! Looks great already! I'm surprised that HT never comes out with quality/screen accurate capes...I mean, they are already charging a lot...oh well, at least we have you guys! I have 4 of your capes and they really make a world of difference on the figures!
