Re: [daco22] London Sociopath + Short hair ver. ( + painted pic )

Could have really benefitted from being a bit larger. Still a great piece though.

Looks a bit small, but still awesome.
Do you have more pics?

Re: [daco22] London Sociopath + Short hair ver. ( + painted pic )

It seems to be the same size as all of my other heads I own... Bulky coats do figures absolutely no favors.

Re: [daco22] London Sociopath + Short hair ver. ( + painted pic )

Sorry for the size.:'( I take your opinion, I'll make better sculpt next time. Thank you all!

Re: [daco22] London Sociopath + Short hair ver. ( + painted pic )

No, no, no! Daco, do not worry! The sculp of Sociopath you did is perfectly proportioned!! Folks, it just needs to be put on a slim body, like TTM-22, not regular body.
The body of Pop Toys figure is too bulky and tall. Try hot toys slim one, you will get a very nice fit. It`s hard to imagine how different those bodies are, untill you see it side by side.

And for the future 'Friend of Sociopath' I totally recomend hot toys Marty McFly`s body. It has a perfect height difference with the TTM-22. And it has Martin Freeman`s built too.

Here is Daco`s Sociopath on the body. I wanted to snap just a couple of pics for references, but couldn`t stop :) Can you blame me? This is an amazing sculpt!! Marvelously detailed and simply beautiful. I have an unpainted version, because I love to see the beauty of the sculpt unobscured by the paint, and because I love my BCS Sherlock and have no need in second detective.
The body is TTM-22 Hot Toys Slim body.
The clothes, hands and feet are from the BCS Sherlock figure.

Daco, you`ve made a wonderful sculpt.
I`m so looking forward to your other sculpts. Sociopath needs friends and enemies very much! :)

Now I'm confused hahahah
The head looks with perfect size in this body!

And I'm still waiting mine leaves Brasil's customs :impatient:

here's mine so far - i'll try to take some more pics soon - i'm just trying to sort out how to get the BCS scarf to sit properly :) after that it's time to put on the jacket (not really happy with the BCS clothes atm- maybe i'll pick up a different set if i can't sort this out) :duff

using a TT slim as a base body btw which i think is a much more appropriate body for this sculpt :duff

The sculpt just looks so good. Cograts on the paint, man!

Did you use a TTM22 or a narrow shoulder Ebay knockoff type? I need to get a new body for the BCS, but unsure which one to go for on Ebay.

Beautiful so far David :clap

thanks much :duff

thanks Anx10us :duff if you're asking me, i used a hot toys tt slim body :)

Daco, the size is perfect. If I were you, I would keep making heads this size. Don't make them bigger.

It's the same size as all my other heads from Sideshow, Hot Toys, and every other company. I don't understand why people want him to have a super-sized head... He'd look freakish.

I don't think that was the problem in the end - the clothes on some of the other pictures put up here were bulky and made the head look smaller than it actually is. Especially when adding the scarf etc. That's my opinion, anyway.

For me - I'm swapping out the old BCS head and it's fine when he's just wearing his suit, but once his coat and scarf are on, it looks a bit small. But that's not Daco's fault. It's the crappy BCS coat and scarf.

I've now ordered a new body to slim it down a bit.

I think this sculpt is one of the best I've ever seen. BRAVO to Daco - truly great work.

I'm looking forward to my short-haired version now (which has slim clothes etc anyway).

Agreed. Any perceived scale issues really boil down to the BCS base body and clothing. I just ordered a replacement set from poptoys. This was my first BCS figure and most likely my last. I was slightly taken aback by the low quality of the figure in-hand. AFAIC it was a waste of precious funds. Just my opinion. Cheers to whomever has the BCS release and is pleased with it :)
