No, they are not the same. All the knock-offs are much bulkier, compared to the slim hot toys. I`ve bought all, that were titled as being 'slim', or 'narrow shoulders', and they all are wider and taller.

I have a lot of Hot Toys, so I'll take some time and find one with a body that looks right. I've already compared the headsculpt size to quite a few HTs and Daco's sculpt is about the same size as 75% of them, so really need a good body.

Is there anywhere that lists what HT bodies are used on each figure? The first HT Joker body looks a good size for it.

i can confirm that POPtoys outfit fits poorly too with this head. i'm thinking it's not a scale issue on daco's part as much as it's the clothes. with his overcoat on i can't seem to find a body that doesn't look bulky. i'm thinking as a last ditch effort to cut the clothes so only what's exposed can be seen. i can't think of any other way to minimize the bulk.

Darn! I really liked the look at that poptoys coat, but there's no way I'm paying that much for just that.

Been trying to find a list of Hot Toys and what body each uses because I would be able to find a good body that way. So frustrating.

here is the pic with pops suit, just a rough and rush test, sorry...my work table is so small.....

I have change the purple shirt to other cos is really not fit...

also I don't like the cutting of the trousers when in side view

The coat...pattern, material totally different, and the button..is a stick cover,...and the sleeves is too long..

The body is bigger and taller than most HT's body

hope the pics can help to compare :)

The PT clothing set looks surprisingly good.

He wears his Peacoat collar up. It's mentioned in an episode.

If you can shorten the ankle pegs that will give you a bit of slack in the pant legs to tailor the cuff up in the front and come down over the heal a bit.

The darker shirt in the Big Chief set suits the character, you should consider dying the white shirt. Just an opinion.

I haven't futzing the trousers well, I still can pull down a little bit or you said shorten the ankle pegs ...

but I don't like is the cutting is just a sharp straight cutting...it show on the photo now I pull up a little bit, the costume is not like this...

The darker shirt I will try to use the wolverine's one, yes you right will dying it but I'm not going to use this cos the color is not true white, and now just a rough test to see scale....

It looks fairly good with the Pop Toys stuff... a bit of futzing here and there, a few alterations and I think it could work.

And that's on a Pop Toys body, isn't it? Any chance that you could put it on a TT slim?

I learned a lot in this project. Next time I'll definitely make better sculpts. Thank you for the opinions.

Daco, seriously don't worry! I honestly think your two sculpts are the best I've seen. That's why I bought both of them!

It would be great if they were a tad bit bigger, but these are custom sculpts and up to us collectors to find the right bodies and clothes. It's the nature of the game.

Despite the few problems, I for one am VERY pleased with them. I have shown a few other people the sculpts and they are gob-smacked at how great the likenesses are. I can't wait for Watson, as I'm sure many people here are looking forward to him too!

Like I said - the two sculpts are about the same size as 75% of my figures, so no worries.

Please don't ever stop sculpting for 1/6 scale because I'm on board for anything you make. And please don't take it to heart, buddy - we're just looking for the perfect bodies and clothes to show off your work.

Are you going to get them? I'm really on the fence about the set - especially as they're quite pricey and have a few problems. I keep thinking I will, then I see more problems and futzing required.

I'm gonna find a good body first, then the clothes.

It's interesting to see takeshi's pictures. The Sherlock one doesn't look too bad, but the short-haired one looks small on that set because of the lack of hair volume.

Your sculpts are beautiful Daco, thanks again for offering this run :)

I think I will bite. I just need to find a legit slim body, then I think I'll be set to go.

The Pop toys set needs work but the proto looked really good, so I'll keep hope. Slim's the way to go though, maybe with some extender pegs (Cumberbatch is 6 foot).

Ordered. If I didn't think it was amazing I wouldn't have stepped up. Great work Daco.

I have a TT Slim in a box, need to get the Pop Toys clothes.
