Agreed. Any perceived scale issues really boil down to the BCS base body and clothing. I just ordered a replacement set from poptoys. This was my first BCS figure and most likely my last. I was slightly taken aback by the low quality of the figure in-hand. AFAIC it was a waste of precious funds. Just my opinion. Cheers to whomever has the BCS release and is pleased with it

To clarify, what clothing are you using on your figure? BC's or Poptoy's?

I'd be interested in seeing the headsculpt on the "they who must not be named" Sherlock. The coat on that one looks FAR better. Also, I've had a couple of suits from them and have vouched for the tailoring - very nice IMO. Just blinkin' expensive for a ripoff figure. I have it saved in my watchlist on Ebay, so really want someone else to do it first! Ha!

Yeah, I've bloody ordered (and paid for) the door and Moriarty. I like the door, really not sure on Moriarty. That's why I'm hoping Daco does not only Watson - which again looks AMAZING and I need for my BCS Watson because it's so much better - but also Moriarty. PLEASE DACO. PRETTY, PLEASE?

When they release Sherlock's brother, I'm going to drop Daco a line first and see if he's got plans to do it - otherwise I shall not be ordering from BCS again.

No.It's absolutely another shape and proportions and from kind of resin.All like real exept the bridge-it should be more thin.Bow is also better, but not so good.

I had a nightmare trying to set that BCS violin under his chin and make his stupid floppy fingers grab it! Every time I had it set. . . DROP.

Of course, Rathbone and Bruce are my MUST HAVE figures at some point.

The violin is nice and hindsight being 20/20, I wish I would've just picked one up loose. I'm currently using the BCS clothes but just don't like the way they are sitting no matter how much futzing I do. I ordered the poptoys set and am hoping/praying the clothes fit better or perhaps maybe I can mix and match pieces from both sets.

At any rate, I will have two Cumberbatch Holmes figures - BCS and the kitbashed Daco one. I'll probably repaint the BCS and try to sell it off when I get some time in the future.

My pic from a couple pages back is on that version.

The clothes are quite good and not bulky at all but the head does look really undersized. I took my picture from an angle to try and hide it, but it is really obvious in person.

He's updated the first page and says, "Now only unpainted London Sociopath is available." But, it's still worth a shot with the PM. Normally it takes Daco a day or so to get back to you. He's a really nice guy too

Got the slick-haired version today and the sculpt/paint are just incredible. The eyes are a not looking in the same direction, but it still beats all other BC sculpts by a huge amount. Fantastic job by Daco.

But, I'm really finding it difficult to get a good body for him. The pictures below are narrow shoulder China knockoffs - they are just no good at all. The pitures don't look too bad (I've not fussed with the clothes) but in person, the sculpt is way too small for them. I thought the knockoff bodies were the same as the TTM-22 that someone else used? I must be wrong.

I also have a HT Bruce Lee body, but that has a neck on it, so no good.

Does anyone know what body the original HT Bank Robber Joker used?




I might be forced to buy the fake Sherlock, just for the clothes, but it's a lot of money for what it is.

No, they are not the same. All the knock-offs are much bulkier, compared to the slim hot toys. I`ve bought all, that were titled as being 'slim', or 'narrow shoulders', and they all are wider and taller.
