Hey guys here's a few pics of my older Death Dealer for some reference. This is a kit I bought from a board member from OSW. Johnny if I remember correctly. Anyway he sculpted the new style DD. if interested ill list how/what I used for the buildup. And I'm sorry how the pics look, I'm using my iPhone :)View attachment 49978

Re: Death Dealer 1/6 "frazetta" CLOSED

damn that's tight spyder...........great work. that mail looks good...is it the fabric type?

I appreciate it :)
I actually used the rubber mail from one of the DML knights from that Timeline movie. But it covers up the arms and legs. If I go with the KP body I won't be able to see the muscles if I use my remaining set. And I'm diggin the way Shock's looks on that body.

yea that body is a beast for sure but saying that i think that's exactly what this figure needs. i dig your custom on every level from the leather work, bits to the armor, straps, weapons and all the other little details that pull it together........though i would say that a bigger body would push it through the stratosphere...............:)
was everything built onto the body you used as you went? and could it possibly be put onto a bigger body or would that be too much of an undertaking to be worth it.
i have a conan custom that was pretty much done like that & would never rip it apart to switch bodies.............it would be a nightmare from the word go.........:horror

Re: Death Dealer 1/6 "frazetta" CLOSED

as I've said before Spyder I love that figure of yours, I've been searching ebay for that Timeline figure for the chainmail but $70 is the cheapest I've seen before postage and that to much for parts :?
If you can give us any details for the harness etc would be awesome

Re: Death Dealer 1/6 "frazetta" CLOSED

Hey guys, thought I'd show you this as an addition, I'm utilising a greek/roman style chest and adding plate armor I'm looking to make a groin plate and tassets (front only)to complete the look.
BarryO yours is practically ready, but I can add these as an alternate option if you can wait a few more days (no charge for the extras) your call

pcleemake I'll be looking to completing you basic sets today

dude...........that looks insanely awesome. heck yea include it i'll wait. at the very least it is an option. may have to see how it looks in a sitting position.........:wink1:

Re: Death Dealer 1/6 "frazetta" CLOSED

At the moment it's just using anti-gravity to sit there, so it's sitting out a bit, but I don't see it hindering a seated possy to much if at all and the tassets will be just loose hanging from the belt

Here's a couple of the shots of it, as you can see there's a bit to do when you get them, though I will be cleaning these up a bit more before it gets sent, I think even mine is a couple of months away from being complete as well
