Hi, yes the casting is now complete, I will be packing this week & sending early next.....sorry for the delay, I wanted to add a few extras to your kits & do some slight cleaning to minimize the work on your end.... I will PM when I shipout

hell yes, me too. i've wanted a DD custom since i came to this board & saw the attempt from braisgonçalves.
and really as detailed and complex as this has been shock has really done a tremendous amount of work in a short time since he went forward with this. i for one am amazed at the speed & the all around awesomeness of this project. i just worry about my skill level taking this to it's full potential.........:horror

I'm going to put it away for a month or so, & put a call out for the last 4 sets, sorry to do that, but with no dedicated workspace in my house it's a little to disruptive to have in the familyroom....

This is truly going to be a one of a kind figure because everyone will build it up a little differently. I really hope that everyone who buys this kit will post their progress and final pics. For me, after a whole year away from the hobby this was a nice way to get back in the saddle. Shocks price for the kit is half what I paid for my other DD figure and it seems to be better quality with more pieces to fiddle with. And the metal blades are just icing on this bad ass cake. It's obvious to me he loves the hobby because I can't imagine he made that much money on it.
So thanks to Shocktrooper for getting me excited about 1:6 again 👍

Thnks mate you have been very helpful & I can tell you are very passionate for the character, I hope it's meets your vision of him...
As far as the kit goes this is my 1st major offering & need to learn more as to what people expect from a customisers kit...
Lets just say on pricing my initial goal is to pay for materials for this project & to give me a bit of a boost on the next, my other goal is to keep my customs affordable, with having to buy bodies and clothing or custom tailoring it all adds up. So if we can all help each other keep the prices down on customs it all helps and we can keep some unique pieces coming below HT prices ..

Now with some of the parts they are cast flat, so once you clean them up for painting (sanding filling to your fancy)..... set yourself up 2 cups, one hot (kettle hot) and one cool bring your dolly... dip the piece in the hot water till soft then form to the figure then dip in the cool stuff :wink1: I recommend a mild soapy wash then let dry before priming.

work bench should be clear by the time this arrives so the DD gets my full attention. will post my wips as i go. and thanks again shock..........real damn excited to start this. if mine turns out 1/2 as good as yours i will be happy.

also I've started an interest for Thulsa, will be taking my time with this one lots of details to get right, no missing details on that guy except the backplate, I also had a bit of a play with the snake head shoulder armor & I'm happy I can replicate it pretty well
