Re: UPDATE 12-22 4 more ThreeZero's Fullmetal's Longclaw (Jon Snow's) Sword Only

I'm glad Jon made more.

Since I was the one who suggested this project to Jon, it was never my intention that it be highly limited. Jon could make these indefinitely and I would be just as happy with my own set -- well as long as I got my scabbard back. :wink1:

Well I'm glad you did. When I commissioned mine about 2 or 3 years ago all we had were bad photos, so although I was happy with the product from Jon, it could've been better. So I'm glad I had the chance to help refine a final product with Dave, using the Longclaw Jon made for me.

Re: UPDATE 12-22 4 more ThreeZero's Fullmetal's Longclaw (Jon Snow's) Sword Only

Well then I have BOTH of you to thank :)

Once the ball got rolling on customizing everything on this figure except for the great mixed media outfitting (sans belt), I started looking like a rabid dog for a decent, metal version of Longclaw. After scouring every resource at my disposal, Jon's first production of Longclaw came up, but had been long defunct. So I, too, contacted Dave right away to commission a custom one-off of the sword. I guess our combined interest sparked quite a fire, and the finished product is as good as it gets in the 1/6 scale format.

Here's to money, shared interests, and teamwork! :duff

I should also say, here's to helping support some of the great artisans and craftsmen of the world. I would much rather give my hard-earned money to support their passions and talents than to fork over a ton of money on some great Hot Toys figure. For me, it's all about having something unique and about enjoying a process that involves more than just a sweat shop and/or assembly line.

Just got mine and this thing is friggin head and shoulders better than the original. Love the work on the pommel. It's crisp and very well done.

Re: Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire Glasses for the Spider-Man

On Dec 14th I got an email from PayPal saying my sword shipped and I was provided a tracking number.
On Dec 28th the tracking number finally registered stating "Processed through Facility" in the Philippines.

Since then nothing, it is now Jan 12th. Almost a month. Any reason for this? Does it usually take this long?

It is the holidays. Were you hit with a lot of snow? This will also effect the postal service. One thing the Philippines is known for is their lack of tracking... Don't worry, it will arrive. Give it about another 2 to 3 weeks.

Mine took a while, bud. Patience is key. It'll take forever to show up in the states, and then another week or so to get to you.

Was the collapsible one made? If so I would like to buy one.
Thanks!
