I don't know if it's because your glasses are better than Hot Toys or you take better pictures than everyone else, but he looks pretty good there. He even looks better than when I look at it in hand, which usually isn't the case. I've been pretty disappointed with the sculpt, but I'm more hopeful now.

I think the better glasses really, REALLY help the sculpt.

Oh... and the glasses work for the Iminime sculpt.... ?

i just made a little video while I was assembling things this morning to show the little jig i made for uniform attachment of the temple arms.

Must be time consuming to remove the lenses from those print-stems to get a clean, smooth finish on the bottom of the lens.

And do they not have thin black wire for the temples? Do you paint the temples black after?

Haha yep.. 90..... times...

I do have black wire but it's in a spool, which means it's difficult to get uniformly straight. So instead I've gone with a straight metal wire made by K and S precision metals. It comes in a paper card and is just a straight piece. And then yes... have to paint each pair.... 90 times.. Haha.
