Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

Thanks everyone foe your input but its now time to stop. I'll get this all sorted out.

Should have pics and thread started tonight or the latest tomorrow. Same as the cases, window of ten days before the run gets closed.

Glad everyone seems as excited as me.

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

Ok. I'll just buy Robbie's gurney. Lol. Haters gonna hate

For the record I personally didn't take offence. I've been on that side of the fence many times. No harm in asking anything.

Back to the topic at hand, I'm looking forward to the sales thread opening, I was never blown away with rhe iminime figure but I think Robbie has taken the best parts of that figure, strengthened the weaknesses and re-created or created from scratch what was not passable. What he has photographed on the last page of this tread is something that in all humility and honesty is exactly what I'd expect to proudly display on my shelf as a highlight peice. I might even just get rid of the plain Jane blue jumpsuit version because this is the one and only lecter I wanted. I'm now excited for a figure that's been sitting in storage since I got it.

Thanks Robbie for coming through for us pal!

Oh s__t :lol. I'm placing mental bets on how steep that list is gonna be

Even the smallest of your offerings thus far have all been home runs in their own right, but you topped the charts with this one.

I'm sure you're really proud to have created such a piece of art. They'll be a bunch of us who will be really proud to own it too :duff

I think the run is only limited by the amount of lecter figures available on the market.

BTW, mike, did you get your Snyderman sculpts painted? My are still in Nathan's possession. Because of that I will be selling my Iminime Lecter with Fullmetal Dolly as soon as I can find another straight jacket.

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

I have the sculpts but didn't send them to Nathan yet. I'll PM you the rest in a bit

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

Keep in mind that my mask was created for the Iminime figure and so I have no idea if it will even fit the Snyderman's. Just a heads up.

Mask turned out insanely perfect. Seriously.

In Robbie's other thread look at the amazing paint job, it actually looks like fibreglass.

I don't want to keep going on about this but I'm so excited for this, Hannibal is one of my all time favorites and most wanted, he's a holy grail for me and what Robbie posted on the other page there, it just exceeds my wildest expectations. So pumped...

:exactly::goodpost: This can't come home soon enough for me either bro!:duff

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

The mouth was off so I fixed that. It got a little too wide and was too rounded on the bottom. Ray, so you know, it is made from the same polyester resin with fibers so technically, its the same as the real thing only smaller.

Wake- Because of this, it can be heated and molded so you maybe able to conform it to Snyderman's head.

Gaaaahhh! Seriously, that's epic Robbie... Grail on the way right there.

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

Yeah. I thought it was easier then trying to tint the resin to get the right color. It just takes for ever to make. I can make about 1-2 a day comparative to the normal ones that would be 8-10 a day. I also have to bake them to speed them up. Luck for me I have an oven in my props room for this. **** stinks to high heaven.

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

There's a mask?!?!? I missed that! Can someone post the link?

It's no prob Robbie, I plan on using the Iminime sculpt with the mask and Snyderman's sculpt with the jailhouse blues

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney
