still have to add the tattoo and bloody him up, but I think the best compromise so far is a stock drake body. Its bigger overall but he doesnt have hugh jackman arms. as everyone else has said, obviously a beautiful sculpt! 10 percent smaller, and I have one of the best figures in my collection here..

The frame of the body looks about right - just the arms are a big issue! And yes 10 pct smaller would have made this an epic figure. Unfortunately so many are struggling for it to even be displayed in an "acceptable" manner - well ....

its stock, not stark arms. I almost did that swap but they really were very similar in terms of size. The stark arms have slightly better detail,but the skin tone change is the trade off so i opted to keep it the same. with some blood and sweat spatter i think i can get the arms looking good enough

^^^^looks great- this might be a silly question but does anybody make bodies? Maybe someone can get a body made specific for this sculpt - there's plenty of interest and I'm sure all those who purchased the sculpt would be down to buy- just wondering- but some of the pics I've seen on here look pretty good to me- I haven't purchased a body for mine yet but that drake body looks pretty cool

I think only Robby could make such speciall body, but I'm not sure will he want to do it for character about which he have no interess.

^^^ I think he mentioned he will do it! The question is will he do arms too? Because the biggest problem lies in that area and not too much on the chest piece area!

Truthfully looking at his posts that guy has A LOT on his plate. Some projects that are 2yrs old and still working on them. Adding this would be years down the road before you see anything. Its a great sculpt and these last two photos shows some justice, I would say take it and run with it. 2yrs from now I could see 3Zero doing this character and killing it. Chillipep66 and Andrew showed some great shots that make the sculpt work, I would take it and run with it.

U will be amazed on how many of these will go on sale in next 6 months. Unfortunately but that's the case. Someone wil list them at some exorbitant price which will become the market rate and there after people will buy at heavy discounts.

So - I wish this was done perfectly and even more cause so many posts actually told mj that sculpt needs to reduce in size! Puzzles me completely. In the world of customs when people are so **** about ever small thing - sculpt size is a major concern and if a body is not going to be done for it - this to most wont b a "pursuable" figure

I thought Hot Toys were considering doing a John McClane?
I guess they got to much on their plate at the moment, what with AOU & Star Wars. Still they are doing a John Matrix so we might yet see a HT McClane. ray:

Honestly I wish they did! Cause they would almost always throw in a good body! They are good and bad at times when it comes to their releases! But on and off they have proven they can do some serious justice to some of their complex releases! I hope they do this one someday!

I have kept a simple rule - anything that's covered in heavy costume is worth investing in customs! Anything with exposed joints, female character figures, exposed chest pieces tend to have that initial oomp factor but all is lost post release or shortly after release - it's very difficult to please custom buyers over and above sculpt and clothing and if any of that goes wrong or slightly off - then you have a different problem all together!

No blame on custom figures or manufacturers it's just not possible to do justice to the entire figure at that "scale of release"

one thing I can say for certainty is I dont think theres ANY way HT or anyone could ever top this sculpt. Likeness, quality, and paint are all flawless. Id welcome an official Die Hard release for the body and accessories. Im sure one day a perfect body will come around.

Head is not so big as I tought, but it's just good likness...Also painting is darker as it looks from pics.
It's big enough to make problems to choose right proportion body, (even pumped muscular),but it's not 1/5 or bouble head.
Maybe, if someone will make special body, it will be great custom figure some day.
I'll make some pics of mine bash wip later, but nothing good there yet [emoji19]
