Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

i will be out of this thread.
and no more reply will be done
i wont read thread any more.

Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

ok. i have to reply this.

the prototype is just as same as the final. i just want to explain bettet to avoid any misunderstanding.

i dont want this kind of misunderstanding.

you want to wait a couple of month for the prototype of sunglasses?
it is alomost similiar between the one to be used for photo and the final one.
i just want to make it better.

why are you so serious about?

do you think our quality is bad at final?

i know there are some reviwers and collectors who dont like our work.

i can say masterworks custom will be end in this hobby after 5-6 projects.

i am tired of this kind of reactions.

so collectors and fans, i will not be making more projects after Summer or Fall next year.

our fans will be missed.

I don't think these guys meant any malice towards your final products. If anything I think it was more a general statement whenever preordering from any company, not just yours. Nobody wants to see you and your team stop putting out the amazing product you produce time and time again. The quality you guys pump out time and time again of the characters we all want to see that would otherwise never be produced is unmatched. I don't think any rotten apples are in this thread, but don't let the few who are out there turn you off from what you do and love. We all get fed up with detractors in our professions. Ya just gotta tune 'em out 'cause they're certainly in the minority.

Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

check about goodfellas,

i do not rush things. but i have a team that i have to feed.

there are some works that are redone to make better to satisfy customers.

in fact, our price of our work is very low which gives me minus profit but i have heart on this hobby and i love my job.

you make misunderstanding about me.
i do not rush. but i do what i have to do.

anyway, there will be few more projects of custom in next year and I will out of this hobby.

and leave ssf.
Last words are sad news.I hope you will change your desision, because we really love your works.

Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

Wow that's a huge loss to the 1/6 community loosing denny I hope you reconsider this , your work is truly magnificent.

Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

Yikes. That's a bummer if true. Denny has had a testy relationship with the some collectors on this forum for awhile due to some of the stated demands, and saying that he is "rushing" this or that is just feeding fuel to that fire. I personally think it would be better to just ignore those comments that he doesn't agree with though, and maybe find someone else to keep an eye on the board on his behalf (I haven't seen Wake post much at all recently). As these comments likely do not reflect those of most of his customer base. But I can get how it would be frustrating for him.

Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

Why does "MasterWorks" always rush the pre-orders/pics, if the sunglasses and shoulder holster isn't ready yet then don't take the pictures, during freedom warrior people complained about not seeing all the options and on previous offerings certain items not being shown when pre-order went up, why not just wait till its complete?

Damn man, keep your dumb comments to urself.

Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

I feel like this is all being blown out of proportion. For starters, I think that, for this sort of quality, the turnaround time is kind of unprecedented, and I think it is a little jarring, when, let's face it, there are so many impatient people in this hobby (myself included) waiting to see this stuff, and suddenly, people are saying that they'd rather wait for the shoulder holster and the sunglasses. I could understand if, perhaps, we were talking about a different sculpt that wasn't reflective of the final product, but I feel like the quality and attention to detail on everything else in the prototype should be enough to convince you. I know that no offense was meant, but I guess what I'm saying is "where's the trust?"

If Denny tells you that the one you're getting is going to have accurate sunglasses and a shoulder holster, what does it matter if the prototype does or not? At the end of the day, this is all about synergy, and sometimes, there have to be compromises to help keep things going smoothly. With those Pre-Orders, Denny is able to pay for materials, as well as his staff, and begin producing the figures that will, inevitably, wind up on our shelves. i know that no offense was meant, though, and I hope that, at least, Denny cleared up why things are done the way they are here, today.

Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

When has Denny ever let us down has anyone got a figure they really wanted and ended up not happy with? He constantly changes thing to make people happy and if he says you will get better glasses you can take it as gospel! The constant negativity and whining on this forum has robbed every one of the best quality custom company's around that makes figures the people want, gutted. WELL DONE **** HEADS.

I hope Deny will reconsider because his and his teams commitment and dedication to us and what his fans want will not bee seen again in my opinion and his figure were of Hot Toys quality and he made what we asked for not just ram what makes money down our necks (IRON MAN).
Thank you Denny.

Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

Yeah it sucs, I wish people could engage their brain before typing on the forums. I hope denny reconsiders but if I was him, I would of got cheesed off reading the comments. :gah:

Damn man, keep your dumb comments to urself.

Dude how about you go **** yourself, hows that? What I said wasn't anything negative, I didn't say Denny rushed "making" the figures, I said I think Masterworks rushes putting up pre-orders, that has nothing to do with the quality of the work whatsoever, geez step back and read little before you spew dumb comments yourself. If you knew anything about me you would know I am a HUGE supporter of Iminime and Masterworks, I have been buying their figures for a looooonnnnggg time, I always put in constructive criticism, and now Denny took my wording as disrespect when in fact it was the opposite, I want his company to succeed and I offered a suggestion to delay the proto pics to offer a more concrete look to what people would be getting. I sighted the Freedom Warrior thread since I read many complaints about the proto pics not showcasing the offerings correctly meanwhile I pre-ordered the DX right away AND PAID IN FULL right away, thats over a grand, in full, right away.... so know what you are talking about when you talk to me man. Denny has been taking **** from others on this forum for a long time and it wasn't me, he is just fed up in general and I think our misunderstanding brought something to the surface that has been there a long time, so don't go crying about it and point your dumbass finger at me.

You could always take a chill pill & swallow your pride. :dunno

Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

Wow this is extremely disappointing news if true.

Not surprising people love to nit pick and complain, sometimes for the sake of being heard. I imagine it would drive someone to madness trying to get anything done.

Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

I find it funny that people don't realize that their constructive criticism can wear person down. Can you imagine someone telling Michelangelo how to paint or sculpt?

Yes, and being an artist I'm sure he heard it a lot, comes with growing as an artist, whether to acquire tougher skin or to improve upon your talent. Not trying to start stuff up guys but really, I asked a simple question of why the rush to put up the preorder before the figure was finalized, again no where was I critiquing the figure or its quality, I even praised it's improvement upon completion and was doing so in relation to helping Denny's preorder process, and in total "Masterworks", denny took my words out of context and as insults and then stated his dissatisfaction with the forum and the custom figure business and everyone decided to jump on me and my statements whether directly or indirectly, I would think people of your intelligence would see the situation how it played out and understand what happened rather than contributing to the negative progression the thread took. Peace.

You really think it was any different then? :lol

When Michelangelo was finishing the David, along came Piero Soderini, the town mayor or boss, to have a look. Michelangelo had put a canvas around the scaffolding so no one could watch him work. He didn’t like gawkers and he didn’t like intruders, not even patron intruders. So when he saw that canvas flap open and the mayor come in, though he had to smile, he must have cursed to himself.

Piero Soderini put on the show of the art connoisseur, walking around under the huge figure. “It’s coming along wonderfully,” said Piero Soderini. “But do you know what? The nose is too thick.”

Criticism like that must have made the irascible Master’s blood boil. He knew that from where Soderini was standing it was impossible to judge whether the nose or anything else was right. “Well, we’ll fix that right now,” he said; and quickly grabbing a hammer and chisel, climbed up the scaffold like a monkey. Clink, clink—Soderini heard the hammer against the chisel and saw marble dust fall. Clink some more. “How’s that?” Michelangelo called down from the scaffold. Of course he hadn’t touched the figure at all but only pretended to be altering the nose.
“Oh, that’s much better!” exclaimed the mayor. “Now you’ve really put life into it.”

Now Soderini was no more of a hypocrite than most; and it’s possible that he was no hypocrite at all when he criticized the nose. It looked too big to him and he said so. Perhaps after Michelangelo had done the hammering, it still looked too big but out of politeness (there are all kinds of hypocrisy) or simple deference towards the man who was supposed to be his superior in this art, he acquiesced.

Piero Soderini might actually be seen to come off better than our hero Michelangelo in this story, who “felt sorry” for the mayor but didn’t say so: he wasn’t that dumb (wink, wink). You don’t bite the hand…..

Will it just be the figure or can you order the head and clothes separately ?

Re: **HUGE UPDATE**[Masterworks]-Inspector .44 **PAINTED PICS ADDED**

I think from Denny's perspective, and he actually said it in his post, the pre-orders puts money in the company so that he can pay his people. The sooner he can set up the pre-order, the sooner he gets funding for his employees. The longer a project takes, the longer wait for them to get paid. I have no problem with it at all since I completely trust Denny. He always comes through and I trust that he will put out the best possible product.
