IDM Customs - MGS2 Solid Snake Full Figure [LIST CLOSED]

I plan to sculpt the hands and boots in 3D and get them printed so it shouldn't be a problem. I did my Drake boots the same way as well as the Marty figures like this and it works pretty well. You lose some ankle articulation, but it looks nice. I was thinking about breaking up the boots into two pieces, but it might look odd.

Yeah, I almost finished Akuma, but got tied up with commissions so I never got to finish him. I finished sculpting his hands and feet and started on his sandals, but he's kind of on the backburner since he's just my personal project. I also did a Ryu headsculpt, but didn't go any further with him for the same reasons.

I'd like to see the Ryu headsculpt. A few of us have been looking for one as well as a Ken

& I'm glad the pouches are being done that way too. I have very high hopes for this figure it's shaping up to be a real piece!

I think everyone would want a MGS1 Snake, Liquid Snake or a Psycho Mantis.

When i first approached John we were talking and he said he was interested in doing a MGS2 & MGS1 Snake and Grey Fox :yess:

I'd really like a Liquid and i can imagine him being quite cheap. Just the head sculpt, Foxhound coat, trousers and boots. Obviously the Tattoo and dog tags but in comparison to Solid he's a breeze

I'd also like a MGS1/4 Big Boss. Again probably fairly easy and the coat could be reused from Liquid

He can't be that easy, nobody i have seen has managed to pull off the outer body suit thing off to a believable level, it's never in the right material or it just isn't as detailed like the muscle definition. If he was a MGS2 Snake wouldn't have been hard

After making MGS2 Snake it should make MGS1 even easier as you'd only need to do a new head sculpt, the outer body thing and knee and elbow pads, He's still more important than Liquid i would say

Yes the suit in MGS1 Snake reused in MGS2 without the vest.

I'm not that fussed about a Psycho Mantis, i don't think he'd look like he should.

All his skin is weird there wouldn't be a good enough body to use on him
