I disagree IMO Snake was more Badass In Mgs fighting a tank,the hind d fighting Liquid hand to hand defeating the foxhound unit, lets not forget the battle with Grey fox.

I agree with krec, MGS 1 Snake was pure badassery in every possible way. He was still a badass in MGS 2, but was essentially reduced to a cameo appearance.

But, that doesn't negate my excitement for this figure. Hopefully, we can get at least one more after this one is done... ray:

I think he's equally cool in both games. . .he just seems cooler in part 2 because he's juxtaposed with that cartwheeling, long-haired hippie girly man. I like the MGS2 suit better, and if I had to pick one to own, it would be that. But I think the look from the first game is more "iconic."

It has the strap across both the shoulder pad things on his upper back too which is good

Is this the same one as the tears of the sun medic kit that toy soldier or soldier story brought out a while ago? I remember buying a bulk load of those kits if they are.

My 1/6 collection, which tentatively consists of nothing but a couple of Medicom figures I have on preorder, will never be complete without Solid Snake & Liquid Snake.

Well John has said this might be the first of MGS customs he may do so the consensus is that MGS1 Snake would be next, although I'd kinda want to go with Liquid Snake first.

That makes things tough. I love MGS2 Snake, but without a doubt MGS1 is my preferred version. I can't display MGS2 Snake with Liquid, it would break my continuity! lol. That's the great thing about this franchise though, you can get so much out of one sculpt with just some subtle tweaking.

Yeah I know how you feel, it would look odd the two of them together. But if MGS1 is the next figure, it wouldn't really require anything but a haircut and maybe miner changes to make him look slightly younger. Although the clothing would probably be more expensive since it's the wetsuit from MGS2 with the vest over it.

But... MGS1 Snake would lead to me buying ALL the equipment he gets in MGS1 :lol

Back when Amnur was doing the MGS1 Snake, I went out a bought a bunch of weapons. I think I ended up with everything he used that was actually real. I'm sure I'm missing some things, but I got the major guns. I'll have to dig them out and see what all I have. What was it that MGS2 Snake used in SSMB again? Was that the Stinger? I know there is one big weapon that I couldn't source in 1/6 scale.
