I think this could also be popular.

I could be wrong but I thought I remember Denny saying they were working on this.

I think Denny is thinking WTF with some of these suggestions. Sometimes it's like folks are just thinking of movies off the top of their heads.
I can see iconic characters and superstar actors from movies like Butch & Sundance, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Princess Bride, even John Wayne although I'm not a fan, etc. But there are others that seem to come completely from left field. Sure everyone has different interests (a "most wanted" to me is a "not in a million years" to others), but at the end of the day these are $300-$400+ figs and Iminime is trying to sell 30+ not 3 or 4.

100% agree with you. Sometimes I just have to scratch my head and wonder.

I would really like to see the original Star Trek done. Definitely Kirk (Shatner) and Spock (Nimoy). That would be a big seller and would be more than 30-40 pieces.

I get that there are some out suggestions, but you never know what will get the ok. I never thought we'd see a Memento Guy Pearce. I'm also surprised by the popularity for recent characters - the huge interest for Wolf of Wall Street and Django figures, for instance.

I would love to see:

Captain America - Peter Fonda from Easy Rider

Billy - Dennis Hopper from Easy Rider

Probably just me, but two of my most wanted are Archie Bunker and Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm).

There are some that I am working on.

and in this thread, so many characters but I am not very sure...because I am not looking for 30-40 limited custom works, I need something bigger to be more popular.

Kyle Reese : it's licensed one,,I wanted to make it..but too risky for myself.

Please give me more ideas with popular ones ^^

thanks

Denny

Reese would be awesome! I'm not positive if he would hit the 80, 90, 100+ numbers that you're looking for, but there's no doubt that he has a fan base and there is a definite demand for him.

I think that another character that I put in that same category is Mad Max. Both are cult-ish characters but carry the same type of popularity.

Really the large majority of stuff that gets posted here is cult-ish in nature at some capacity (a lot of the figs that Iminime has already made are no more or less left field than most of these suggestions). I really hardly see anything posted here that's SO left field IMO. I think a lot of times people who have absolutely zero interest in a certain character don't realize that just because it's not their cup of tea, the character actually has a sizable fan base.

These would be my top choices that I’d think are generally more popular

Obviously I am a big time supporter of the Heat characters and Axel. I question the Sin City characters only because I have a hard time seeing how they'd translate to 1/6. I guess you could do them black and white, but I feel like that wouldn't translate well to a colored 1/6 display. I look at the NECA and smaller scale versions and I have always felt that they just look odd.

These are some of my biggest wants. They are probably left field to some folks but some of these have more of a following than just me :lol

Really? Hmm. I have all of the Neca figs and personally I think the B&W versions look great. That would be something so unique in 1/6. Having to sort out all of the fabrics in the right colors to appear B&W and having the pop of what's supposed to be in color (blood, Yellow Bastard's skin, etc.)

Heat trio & Axel all the way :hi5:

Mike, I also think that some of the difference in opinion is based on where we are from and our age. Movies/characters that are huge here are not necessarliy overseas and vise versa.

I do think Yellow Bastard and a really well done Marv (bright white bandages, deep red blood spray) could look really cool. Not quite sure about Hartigan but then again, I thought he was the weak part of the movie.
