I think a movie with a following like Memento is strong enough to sell a secondary character, but not Sammy. There's not one thing that's remotely visually interesting about the character, unlike Lenny. If they knock Lenny out of the park, I think there'll definitely be some people that come out of the woodwork and attempt to pick one up (maybe even myself) but no matter how well it does, I wouldn't translate that as meaning anything in regards to Sammy. I doubt I'd display a Sammy if I got one for free.

If so, it would be through Proteus360 for $200, I guess. . .damn shame how all that has shaken out, IMO.I think what Wake means, is that Trevor is making it for himself, in no relation to "yes" to Iminime release. So, there will be Teddy, just really limited

I recently asked Proteus360 regarding the price and with the explanation he gave I saw it was pretty valid in ways. In any case costs in Europe is higher for casting plus he gives a cut yo everyone from Trevor to the caster per cast. Plus his painting is quite on the higher quality so in the end it seemed reasonable...

It is an a'aight price if you want to get the head painted by them (though at Silent Surfer $ levels I'm not sure I would call it a particularly great deal). I would rather try my own hand at painting them, but it isn't even an option anymore through legitimate channels.

Nathan's upped his price recently I heard, I did ask him about selling unpainted but he said an unpainted cast would be close to $80 if including all the cuts he has to pay and people are just not willing to make the jump from Trevor's price of $35 to that...
Trevor himself said he felt he really charged too low, but we all know thats very much like Trevor. Some never realised what a steal they got for $35

I would probably pay $80 for a new Trevor sculpt of a character I really liked. But I probably wouldn't pay $200 to get it painted by those guys. It's Trevor's decision of course, but it sucks for those of us who are collectors who like to put their own figures together (and who refuse to support scumbag "counterfeiters"). That really was the core of the custom section here until a couple of years ago, when this section transitioned into a sales forum for expensive custom figures instead of a place where those doing their own customs could interact. I guess this shift by Trevor reflects that general shift in the collecting community.

Okay guys, so I've thought long and hard about my next diorama project and i have settled on making Lenny's Motel Room.
Im planning on making 2 or 3 MAX. One for my personal collection. Another for a lucky collector or two. I want to gauge interest to see who's interested in adding something like this to their collection.
Here's what I propose.
22" wide x 21" deep x 20" tall. Almost a perfect cube although not quite. It will have as accurate furniture as I can get made and the window will be back lit and the sconce lighting on the walls will work. Total price is $1200 (shipping is additional). I would need one third up front deposit to cover the materials and furniture. The rest on completed pics before shipping.
Because of the sheer size you can count on the diorama being expensive to ship internationally. In the USA you are looking at somewhere between $60-120 to ship depending on carrier.
The build time will be anywhere between 3-5 months. But I will be constantly providing updates. Probably weekly.

sculpt looks great! I still say its a darn shame this project went ahead without a satisfactory body being discovered/ created first though. Fantastic start to the sculpt though.

I have in my possession the worldbox muscle body. It has sculpted legs. Tight joints. The body had paint detail. The musculature is TTM19 clone for the upper body. Im pushing for that body. It even has underdeveloped man junk!

The body is pretty good. Actually, next to the TTM19 my favorite muscle body and in some ways better because of the sculpted legs.
