Of course it is... in any other system the votes have no weight... but thats not how people feel about the characters. My 14 character votes shouldnt count as much as ElderPredator2's ONE VOTE FOR SHANE.

What wrong with a top 5 and a single vote per character? The 1-5 points can artificially inflate the perceived popularity of a certain character. Shane may be 5 to someone but a 1 to another, and Merle and 2 for someone and a 2 to another. Both want both characters, but Shane would seem more popular than he really is because of the weighted vote.
