I do agree the top 5 list is the right way to go. Just not the weighing of the choices because that is really messing with the actual results. I don't think you'd get the real sense for what characters people are interested in. People will by more than just their #1 favorite character.

Take over the thread if you want. I was performing a service. Shane, michonne, Merle are in my top 5 anyway so how am I rigging it exactly?

i would never justify pay 200-300+ for anyone other than rick, daryl, and shane.

so if were getting 5 votes each and this is going off who we would buy would i be able to put all 5 of my votes towards shane?

I'm honestly not trying to steal your thread, just correcting the calculation errors and pointing out the flaw in the weighted system, which had Shane and Carl leading instead of Michonne, who is actually leading in number of votes, but not weighted votes. I've made my point, and I'll move on. But if I may make one last suggestion, keep both lists - the weighted and non-weighted. That would give iminime the actual popularity of a character and now important each character is overall.

Its good that your challenging the point system Buttmunch, but Wake is just trying to contribute, just like you. Not sure why you are giving him a hard time talking about math and using those facepalm, duh smileys isn't really helpful. I doubt he was trying to rig the outcome...bad system is bad, period, everyone is using the same bad system.

I think if Shane is done he should have an option to display him either normally or as a walker, similar to how hot toys made the Harvey Dent/Two Face combo. 1 body, 2 sculpts, 1 regular clothing set and 1 bloody clothing set.
