Uhm, I'd actually have to see what the seamstress could do, otherwise I could end up stuck with a couple of heads and nowhere to put them...
I wouldn't want to skew the price with false expectations.

Duty blue sounds like the best choice, as it could be used both for Lee and Bill with some minor changes (and padding) for the later.

Yea, could use a duty blue for the Admiral Adama head ive had sitting around forever.

If Kara ever gets made though I think we should go with a flightsuit.

Okay guys, i got a first quote for the Duty Blue uniform.
It could be made by Unleashed Viper Customs for around $100, which includes pants, belts, custom 3d printed buttons for the shirt and custom printed insignas. Price is not definitive and is subject to change. Could be less, could be a little more (but i don't think it will be more).

i have delt with him last month for a custom request and he truly is a nice guy, works fast and his prices are great.
I don't want to ask tailor such as Gee Wiz or Yunsil because their prices are way too high IMO.
Tell me what you guys think of his work.
I think i can get a proto by the end of the month.

Honestly their work is a bit of a mixed bag. It varies from the decent to very mediocre. Would have to see the finished uniform before I commit.

If you believe in these people I'd say go for it.

I inquired about a duty blue uniform to geeqhiz a few months ago and they told me it was going to be about $400 (which I find ridiculous), so the price is right here. It is just a bit of a gamble on quality.

After checking their work I think the same. The Duty Blue is not an overly complex outfit (compared with some other projects that can be seen around here) but I think that is going to require a better tailor than that, especially to get the jacket details right:



Not a very helpful contribution, I know, but if I find a suitable tailor I'll let you guys know. Such a pity that there isn't enough interest in the project, because with enough people we could use the new "on demand" option provided by Iris and get the uniforms there
