Wow checked in to see any movement on this thread and all I can say is some people just want to slander some sculptors who are actually great well respected in the 1/6 community. I to have nothing but praise for Joy and Tom Studios. Her female head sculpts are the high standard for the collector. Not to mention also her male character heads........shame on the critics.

Sadly a large part of the 1/6th custom community has gone off the rails in terms of what is popular verses what is quality. The interest page is always filling up with request for the flavor of the month sculptor to redo every character that has already been offered by other sculptors. While it's nice to be able to chose on some heads, others aren't getting made. Based on the new BSG heads the Snyders did for Robot Chicken, I am interested in seeing what happens with this.

Just wanted to chime in here and say joy and Tom, aka snyderman are true pros . They were around here selling amazing heads before I had even started, they are one of the rare sculptors who can make good.females , they have been a true inspiration not me

That being said I have heard that bsg maybe being bought for 1 6 , I maybe sculpting a few of them...

I think Sean is working on it, no links or manufacturer name. But i think it will be QMX. Not sure but they are the best candidates.

Clearly there were no news at SDCC, but with the huge expansion of their Star Trek line plus their previous BSG merchandising QMX seems like the only logical candidate for these guys at some point in the future ray:

Well if that's true it's about damn time! With all the previous BSG merch QMX made I was amazed this wasn't their first licence for 1/6 figures. I would be in for a good half dozen figures at least.

BSG is one of my favourite TV shows and the only one I ever gone back and re-watched (and more than once at that). I am definitely keen on representing the key characters on my shelf in 1/6 and am interested in any clothing runs or custom sculpts.

Season 4 Kara Thrace would be great.

Very pleased that QMX will be producing a Bill Adama figure. I've seen that picture before (with the inigo sculpt I believe) - do we know if that is the QMX prototype?
