INTEREST [Scaletta] LADY SIF & Heimdall--7-12-2016 Update

I've been hoping to see these two characters produced since the first Thor movie, but doesn't seem to be in HT's plans. So I've talked to the folks at Scaletta Studios to see if there is enough interest out there to make it happen. Scaletta did a phenomenal job on Faora (Man of Steel), as well as Cage and Rita (Edge of Tomorrow). They can bring that same level of detail and craftsmanship to two of Thor's most trusted Asgardian allies, The Lady Sif and Heimdall. At least 20 folks will be needed to get this one going.

UPDATE #2: 7-12-2016 Sif will get underway right after Heimdall is completed. :yess:
Revising thread to see who all is interested in LADY SIF. While not as elaborate as Heimdall, Sif will require rooted hair as well as metal armor pieces and weapons, so price is TBD. I'm guessing the upcoming Wonder Woman body might be a perfect choice for this one. Because people dropping out can throw off projects, please indicate/reindicate interest only if you are serious.

I'd be down for both, depending on cost. How much do their figure kits tend to go for?

I've kitbashed a Lady Sif, but need a good head.

List updated. That's five possibles already (well four and one definite).

Keep in mind this is only a list to gauge interest, not a commitment so feel free to chime in. With these types of things I usually say something like "interested pending pricing and sculpt". As for pricing you know how that goes. It will depend on the number of folks participating, complexity of the pieces, etc. After years of hoping for a glimmer from Hot Toys, I don't think it's in the cards. So the next best thing is to try to put together some great looking customs capable of standing shoulder to shoulder with Thor, Loki and Odin. So hopefully there are enough others out there who feel the same.

Unfortunately, too much stuff coming this summer plus SDCC, I had to drop out of the Faora kit. But maybe by the time this gets going, I'll be good to pay it off in phases.
